Who are you to bash people for their opinion of something you like? If you like it, and most other people don't, fine. That's your choice, and I'll respect that.

But I don't like it when people shove their opinions into other people's faces like it's fact. It might be a good book in your opinion, but others might not. It's called uniqueness.

In my opinion, Twilight is basically published Mary Sue fanfic, but that's my opinion that I expect others to respect, and in turn, I'll respect that our opinions differ. That's just life.

Because popularity is not even close to correlating with quality there. Heck, when is it ever though? Don't let that get you down, certain things like kittens and furries and whatever anime's popular at the moment are what will bring in comments, has nothing to do with the quality of the art. DA has its little groups of buddies who do nothing but post "kawaii" and "so cute" on everything they see, one useful comment is worth fifty of those.

Considering the homeless people that I don't kick out of my library despite the many bags of mysterious personal effects, the odor caused by of lack of access to soap and water, and the general air of decrepitude, I'm not sure you can argue that there is such a thing as too poor to use the library. And you can't look at anyone and predict whether or not they're able to use the internet, trust me. The only privileges invoked here are literacy and a body which works sufficiently well to operate the machine.

Eh, I sometimes assume toned-downness in canon - to be more specific, the first few instalments of my fandom's canon (Metal Gear) did not include any hard swearing but some characters used softer swearwords (damn, hell etc) a lot, and later instalments have been more liberal about hard swearing. So I mentally edit in harder swearwords.
