Just because they're by the same guys doesn't mean everything they make is going to be identical. I don't want them making the same show over and over again. That would be boring. CNNNN and The War serve/d different purposes. There might be similar elements, but that's down to how the way they do things.

CNNNN was brilliant, I'm not denying that, and I know it's always going to be mentioned when you talk about them, but The War is nothing like that. It's a different show. Still awesome in its own right, but different. This appears to be something some people find difficult to grasp, mainly by the people who want them to go back and do CNNNN again. But I don't want them to do that. They've already done that. Why do it again?

Apologies for the rant, but it's just something that's frustrated me for some time now.

oh ps maybe it's because i was there for SO LONG or it's that i draw more het/anthro art than 'yoww-ee' now, but ygallery got boring and retarded for me. some of my friends are mods there and they have some interesting stories, but hardly anything catches my aye there anymore :c it makes me sad cause i met my girlfriend there and i used to be addicted to it. 5. I get your point and agree, (real life should always be more important than fandom) but don't assume that everyone that wants to make a name for themselves in fandom doesn't also have goals in real life. People can use the internet and still have a life.

you might think it's disgusting, but it's not illegal.

She (he?) wasn't calling the people who wrote shota pedophiles ("pedo smut" is used in the same way you've just used "kidsmut", you see) and the secret poster never said if she/he thought it was disgusting or not. I'm not the one who wrote it, but I think you're jumping to conclusions. ♥

It sucks that the communities housing all your stories are gone and not coming back, yes, but if they're not coming back then there's no use whining or complaining about it, is there? I'm sorry for the people who lost years of writing because of Strikethrough '07 but I think we should all just MOVE ON already. Geez.

It's not like LJ's going to try again with all the backlash the first round has caused.

15. Hojo! :D Gah, yeah, I'm a horrible Hojo fangirl (as if that wasn't REALLY FREAKING OBVIOUS from all the art I do with him BUT ANYWAY). Though... IloveddDoCpleasedon'thurtme? He's the main villain of the game! He's a science nerd (and science is sexy, oh yes it is)! And he gives me excuses to write evil. So yeah, much love there. <3

Dr. Hojo is one of the few characters I could stand in Final Fantasy VII to be honest in game, and even more of the few I actually liked. He was the real villain and a science nerd, I totally thought he was awesome back in he day.

The site's *far* more user-friendly, the mods are more accessible, the community's more closely knit.

And for 'nothing but yaoi on it', substitute 'no one to flame you for posting yaoi'. Not to mention a bit of a welcome break from all the exploitative tits and ass pics 'artistic nudes' on DA.
