Ooh, okay... damn. And yeah, I favour my left. I can read without my glasses just fine with my left eye, but if my vision was like that of my right eye, I'd be verging on legally blind. And I'm going to an optician next weekend... for the first time in three and a half years...

I actually understand your friend because I can't see 3D effects, wearing 3D glasses jump-strarts my migraine and last time I've been to the mall I've tried the Nintendo 3DS for like 30 seconds.
I had to lay down on a bench and stay there with my eyes clodes tight.
So maybe your friend has never seen a whole 3D movie, but if they're as sensitive to it as I am and they've experienced it in any way, I fuckin' understand 'em.

I'm a bit late, but I shall rec this until I die:
Thermodynamics series (http://libraryofsol.livejournal.com/tag/series%3A%20thermodynamics) by entangled_now. It's the best one out there. Sherlock/John, totally in character and I could see this happening in the show. The setup is a bit cliché but she makes it something so, so good.

The first part of that series is the last one on the list.

the best part is that I'm like 99% sure that the image is fan created. In fact i think i know who made it. The original picture just had Nic Cage and the dead girl in the middle i think. So that makes me think either this is a ridiculous troll or a really really dumb person. So uh, good job??

I totally understand. I'm in a fandom that is a kitten to the dinosaur that SGA was (more a mouse really, a very small mouse) even at it's peak and now it's much smaller

And then I saw a BNF who used to post in that fandom call it 'dead' and I'm like "umm, no, it's not dead, I post stories all the damn time."

It really pissed me off.
