Nooo OP! Carl and Ellie wouldn't want that, for sure. Look at Carl-- he thought once Ellie was out of his life that he couldn't find joy in anything ever again, but he went out and made it for himself! He didn't give up, even when he thought it was hopeless. He remembered how Ellie would find a new adventure no matter where they were or what they were doing, so that motivated him to do the same. There's an endless amount of joy in the world, just keep your eyes open for it!

There are so many things in the world, so many amazing wonderful things. I agree with everything that has been said.

I think that if you give up now, you'll never know what could have been. Dying is easy, living is harder. Wouldn't you want to prove to the world that you did it, that you experienced life, took that journey, instead of giving up? I know that even though I feel like I'm going nowhere, the experiences, the memories, the little things made along the way has truly made me happy.

So, keep going OP. There is still adventures waiting to be had. :D
