Not offended. I do get that it was a joke, sorry if I came across as offended or anything. It's an apt joke as far and points out the flaws in the movies.

You're not alone, OP. Apparently fandom seems to assume bisexuality as the norm, and gets all weirded out by straight women who just don't want women in their porn. I don't ~hate~ women. I like female characters, lots of them. But I don't find women sexually attractive. I don't want breasts and vaginas in my porn, it turns me off. I want to read porn about men because I find MEN hot, not women. It's that simple. So unless you think all heterosexual women are just unsuspecting victims of internalised misogyny who would actually be bisexual if they didn't hate women so much (which is dumb), judging people for only shipping m/m is just ridiculous.

There are several big-name shows out there with excellent material and active fandoms...and I just don't get them. AT ALL. But I still think that if I found just one of the dudes attractive, I might actually stick around to watch.

I think the problem is, that this is MK these days. Those costume ripping effects... well, actually, it's not so much that effect, as that the things the girls wear is so comparatively little you can't damage them without it looking like that.

having a new fandom take a look at it over the years, that didn't notice the direction it was heading into piece by piece probably put it in sharp relief.

I miss when it was just about the gore and not also the girls.

Summons are always my favorite thing to see, in any of the games. I always go out of my way to get all of them, and in FFXII, that was a bit of a task, but it was worth it! Those things were awesome.

I dunno how much I like the whole transforming-mecha feel to the FFXIII ones, but they do fit in better with the overall atmosphere of it. I think it's just the evolution of the setting that deviates from the "traditional" design.

1. There's a fair few on ABC (Family), Fox (lol Glee which supports the gay agenda in favor of bashing everything and one else), and that Degrassi or whatever. But all my shows have only straight chars so I can see that complaint!

2. Yeah but I'm talking about characters with explicit references to girlfriends/wives/that chick from last night I met in a bar oh dude she was so whack when I woke up. And the like. Where it's pretty much a given they are straight. If it's never stated one way or another well alright, fair game.

3. I think otherwise but I doubt we will agree on this point. I think they would never fall for someone outside their stated sexuality (unless it's for sweeps ratings bonuses LOL THIRTEEN lol House).

4. Well I'm straight and girls do nothing for me so eh, I think if it's a significant part of their character (their attitude towards the other gender) it can go OOC.

5. You seem to be one of the few so I can respect you want representation - most just seem to be all TWO DICKS SO HOT LOLZ and that's just.. come on 8|
