Idk. I'm not sure I get the point of this secret. Everyone has their favorite characters. Is this new or shocking? Idk. I like Ten, Rose, Martha AND Donna (and Mickey and Nine and Wilf etc etc).

NGI, I know it was an obvious case of pair the spares, but I love the idea of Martha and Mickey and I'm so sad we didn't get to see them teamed up on Torchwood as was originally planned.

Martha/Mickey >>>> Martha/Tom. Tom was basically just a blank slate to ~prove that she was over the Doctor. He didn't have a real personality or character. Mickey on the other hand was a fully formed character, so while it definitely did seem very "pair the spares", I still like him better for her than Tom. I will forever be pressed that we didn't get to see them together in CoE though

The thing about Doctor Who fandom is that no matter who you like or dislike, there's always a comfy corner of fandom where your opinion is acceptable and even common.

Me, I like all of your character plus Ten and Rose, but I know plenty of people who feel the way you do. It's all cool, though if there isn't another incarnation of the Doctor you do like then that is an Unpopular Opinion. Not wrong or anything, just unusual.
