15) Didn't we go over this already? Jesus, icons are serious fucking business. Who the fuck cares? They're 100x100 pixels, I don't know why everyone takes this so serious. Not just with this fanart crap, but being 'copied' too. They're just pictures.

6. "Not challenging" eh? Always interesting to find out why people ship things. I tend to like pairings where one character builds on what the other lacks, so for IchiHime I dig that Orihime brings in all the weirdness and cheerfulness and LIFE that Ichigo's life is sorely lacking. Of course, that has been absolutely NIXED by the copypasta arc, but being a damsel in distress completely blanked Rukia's character, too, so if you're contrasting to IchiRuki I don't see how that's a valid point--but then who knows you may be IchiIshi or maybe in my wildest dreams IchiChad .

In response to #19 today: To deal with the negative connotations of the term, a number of fans have unofficially split it. There is now a difference between otaku (negative, from the Japanese usage) and Otaku (positive). The otaku embodies all of the traits you have listed as negative, while the Otaku is a person who has managed to be clean, polite, and down to earth while still being a fan.

I really don't understand how if Ichigo and Orihime ended up together, it'd make her a caricature. Character depth is about how she's written as a whole, not who she ends up with in the end, if anyone. And she's a very well-written character, IMO...

Let me see if I get this straight.

You fantasise about this fictional girl you like having sex with fictional guys you (presumably) also like.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about your sexual identity. Unless you identify as a lesbian, that is.

If you start thinking about her on her own or her with other girls, perhaps then a bit of soul-searching is in order, but until that time comes: enjoy the straight sex for what it is.

Of course, if your secret is not actually about sexuality, but about the hypocrisy of really liking a character you claim not to like then you can totally disregard everything I just wrote.
