19. This comment won't help you at all! But I'd really like to know who you are, because I feel exactly the same way about some people. That bad fangirl used to be me and my friends, dressing sloppy and making fun of "preps with lives". All I did was talk about anime. I'm not like that now, but I lost a lot of potential friends because I was just so unpleasant to be with. I still adore fandom, but..well..there are fandom-kids in my school who I don't want to be associated with-- the obsessed, dirty-anime-t-shirt-wearing kids who sit in the corner with a DS all day and fangirl/boy. I'm not that kind of fan anymore, and I don't want to be thought of as one-- so I don't talk about fandom at all, and I feel so hypocritical ):

The text in mithrigil's banner refers to the character in the banner, Albert Silverberg, not to mithrigil herself. Mith is actually quite nice-- the Suikoden and Final Fantasy XII fandoms, of which she is a member, have some of the nicest BNFs I've seen-- I can't remember ever seeing a stereotypical BNF in either fandom, at least on LJ. Yes, she's made some factual mistakes in some of her fics (at least in regards to canon), but she actually listens to and uses concrit, and has some of the best writing of any ficcer I've seen.

Seriously. Poor Mith, I'm not even on her f-list, I just read her work occasionally, but I don't ever recall seeing her act in a way to deserve this.

Doesn't secret #16 fall a little too close to personal attack? Or is that only if the secret-poster uses the target's real name or username as opposed to something that's just very readily identifiable as belonging to them?

7: I wouldn't say Uke!Zoro, but I do love it when he's on bottom and puts up a fight to get on top. I'm not that much of a Sanji/Zoro fan either, but if written right, then it's all smooth-sailing and bliss. My favorite pairing is ZoLu though.

But GO YOU! And that picture you used...I love that picture and how Zoro's just juggling his weights with a "Yeah?" expression and how Sanji's just standing there and staring at him lie it's the oddest thing he's seen.

10 - so am I! I think I'll do it anonymously, though ... which is annoying because one of my LJ friends wants a signed copy when I've written it. I think what I'll have to do if I ever do get published is put up a friendslocked post on my personal journal linking to my "published-author" journal and not link back to my personal one from the published-author journal ... not foolproof, but it'd work okay.

(I particularly want to write a subtexty-gay FEMALE Comic Villain Duo. There are never enough women in the comedy villains role. They don't have to be dumb for it to work either. Croup and Vandemar of "Neverwhere" were competent and really scary, but their mannerisms and dialogue were still funny.)
