15. Crucifixion was used as a pretty nasty execution method for criminals in Japan since Medieval years, WAAAAAAY before Christianity reached there. The victim would be tied up to a cross, finished off with spear thrusts by specially trained executioners, and his corpse would be left there to rot for MANY days before being buried or burned. The whole process even had a Japanese name: 'haritsuke'.

So, nyeah on you for thinking crosses in anime are there just for the "OMG X-tian pose" or something. The Japanese knew what a cross was WAY before St. Francis Xavier went there and people like the Martyrs of Japan were nailed to their respective crosses. :P

Strangely enough, I feel uncomfortable wearing jewellery with crucifixes on, because I think people would assume I was a Christian, and not the wretched godless heathen (okay, agnostic) I actually am. Though I think the first poser goths to appropriate the crucifix did so for Christianity-mocking purposes, so it's odd that even that's been thrown to the wayside in favour of "I like the pretty shiny!" We are a shallow society after all.

Same goes for Mello. D: I was looking around roleplaying comms & it's all MELLO IS A WHORE. Mello is gay for Matt. Mello likes bondage. Mello would wear lipstick just to rebel against the whole "you look like a chick" comment. And I'm all, JESUS CHRIST. Whatever happened to just remembering that these characters (Matt & Mello) don't need buttsex to be awesome? (Elitist attitudes ftw!)

I think I'm the only one who just really doesn't care about real gay porn. :'( I don't mind it -- instead of a turn on, it's more educational. 9_9 One that I saw--they went through 7 positions before actually coming. The farthest I'll LIKE with gay porn -- two guys making out but not to the point of where their tongues are poking up each other's noses or something because THEN I draw the effin' line. 18. I'm pretty homo myself and I don't think that's homophobic at all. I really cannot het fictional hentai (eugh, the way they portray the women), but sometimes het porn can be sexy to me. I love slash and male/male love, and have no issue seeing men in real life make out, but I cannot get off at all to real man on man porn. And I adore lesbians, and I love shoujo ai, but usually cannot stand yuri pics with their gushing fluids coming out of every corner of the picture or odd anatomy. Shoujo ai and girl-girl romance turns me on, and sometimes a yuri picture can, but for the most part I never really care for it. As for lesbian porn, sometimes it does it for me but most times it doesn't (so many obviously fake ones T_T with the girls being dry as sand as they barely go near each other's kooches haha). In reality I just think a lot of porn sucks XD
