What's wrong with Natalie Portman? Why do people dislike her?

She at one point support the child molester director before she knew the facts of the case so she's "EVIL" and "HORRIBLE" forever now. Some people hate her for being vegan and DARING to have a vegan wedding and not send photos to the mags afterwords. Oh and she gets her vagina near guys a lot of the women there want to fuck, so :/

I'm pretty sure she apologized at some point for supporting him and she's hardly the only actor or actress that supported/support him.

The vegan wedding was cool. They even used local non-endangered wild flowers (I believe most of them were potted too) instead of hot house flowers. I believe she even more a vintage gown she'd gotten at a thrift store.

A lot of celebs supported/support Polanski and don't get held to the same forever-beloathed standard she does.

I'm an extremely unapologetic omnivore, but that's completely within her rights. As long as nobody's trying to make my choices illegal, she can do whatever she wants.

Now, if she's been known to support PETA even while being aware of their most extreme stances (working for the complete extermination of domestic dogs and cats being the real biggie) then that's another matter entirely.

I don't know, I'm perfectly capable of criticizing the actions of the country I belong to while still supporting the country itself. Being Jewish doesn't justify supporting unconscionable actions on the part of Israel.

Then again, I don't regard "supporting Israel" as a personal sin which makes it okay to hate someone, so maybe I'm just not suited to this conversation? I mean, using someone's political beliefs as grounds for hating them personally is not usually justified, to me, unless they're literal Nazis or something.
