Honestly, the problem is that it's on Adult Swim and watched by a bunch of socially broken nerds. If this was on another channel it wouldn't be so risky.

I don't care what color the creators are, either, I just want an animated show where black people get to be regular heroes, not oh-so-edgy satire. It wore me out with The Boondocks and just looking at this secret exhausts me. I wonder if I can get the complete Static Shock series on DVD yet.

Static Shock was my favorite show out of the DCAU. It was awesome, and I hope they do release the whole thing on DVD someday soon.

I can see why this is a secret, especially if you're white. This sort of objection should really come from inside the community. Otherwise it comes across as Might Whitey trying to educate those ignorant colored folk on how to behave properly.
