After someone mentioned it a few GCs ago, I finally sat down and saw Metropolis for the first time. Holy smokes, they were not kidding this is really one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. Even the overdone 1920s stage makeup for the cameras was just so full of character that I stopped seeing it by the end. And so many of those sets, my goodness. I'm not sure I can articulate much about it right now, but I'm so glad I got to have that film experience.

I've just finished re-watching Doctor Who season 4, followed by looping back and watching The Runaway Bride, and it's suddenly hurting me to realize that those 14 episode are all I will ever get of Donna Noble as a companion. Ever. She deserved more. More episodes, more time, more stories, more delightful scenes of delightful epicness.

Anyone else have characters they really wished they got a chance to see more of?
