Like I'm totally gonna believe that a full-fledged, experienced Auror, in the midst of a war, is suddenly going to lose her magical aptitude just because some boy she likes doesn't like her back. Heartbreak sucks and all, but it was really disappointing that apparently "boohoo, my crush doesn't return my feelings" trumped, "holy shit, there's a war going on where my abilities are necessary."

See, here's the part where I can't disagree with you in anyway without being accused of being a troll, or one of ~those~ anons, or a coward or whatever because omg the horror a wild anon

it wouldn't have threads frozen anymore than usual because that's how it is right now. Seriously, all you have to do to 'save' your username reputation is log out and comment anon. Which is probably what some of you do.

If this was an anon only place it would be exactly the same as it is now.

I've distanced myself from the fandom in general for this very reason.

It helps that I've separated the pairing so I enjoy it in fandom but don't see it in canon, but still this fandom is nutso and can ruin anything given time.

Considering how candid Faust was about other aspects of the show, including some stuff she was stressed out about (for example, being pressured by execs to write products into an episode--this was how the whole wedding episode happened), I actually believe that she's telling the truth about building up to it from day one.

Plus the whole blahblah Day/Night princesses and Twilight is between them both, etc.

He's my fave character (and I ship Tonks/Remus/Sirius OT3), but I do agree that it was frustrating that so much of it happened 'off-screen.' We really don't get enough of them interacting, and of course we don't get to see them as parents, like, at all. As soon as Remus made Harry godfather I was like "that's so cute! Now he's just like Sirius and Remus and Tonks are like--OH GOD NO" and realized what was coming--like, I love me some parallels/bookends, but sheesh. >:\
