I had never thought about it before, but I guess so. All of our teeth are terrible, either it gets unnoticed because people are used to it, or someone actively likes it.

Regarding the people she finds attractive at least, Rae is definitely representative of everyone in England, yeah. :)

I'm not even English but secrets like these make me panic more about my natural colored, crooked teeth that can't be treated because of a condition in them.

They're otherwise healthy though without cavity but nice to know that they're stil "disgusting-ass" :D.

Bad teeth can really fuck up your face. I'm not talking about a cute little eyetooth overlap, I'm taking huge crooked boulders and buck teeth.

The 'who notices teeth?' comments are funny to me. That's one of the first things i notice, (in real life for sure, on tv/movies if i can see them well enough) and while i find the ultra-white, perfectly-straight-across-the-bottom-edges teeth that a lot of Hollywood people seem to have very denture-like, I also really, really notices weirdly stained teeth or teeth with big gaps.

I remember watching 'Long Way 'Round', Ewan and Charlie going 'round the world on their motorcycles, and Charlie has big gaps in his teeth. I looked *every time*. I didn't think he was gross or this teeth were 'nasty', but i noticed it whenever he smiled or said something that showed them.

The teeth thing has always seemed like a majorly US hangup to me. Received wisdom always says that teeth are whiter over there because fluoridation is more common, but then in US films and stuff people never seem to drink tap water anyway. Who knows? Maybe cosmetic whitening / straightening (ie. beyond the teenage brace stage) is more of a last resort here - it's like the kind of thing actresses get done to try and make it, not something joe and joanna bloggs get done.

tldr - I like guys and women with non-perfect teeth. A mouthful of veneers just looks so plastic. I prefer straight teeth, but different strokes and all that. I know some people who think crooked teeth are cute and that's totes fine.
