Moffat's not writing anymore episodes until the finale

Whoa, really? Where is this from? I mean, Moffat's written 6 episodes of season 5, 5 episodes of season 6, and...does this year's Christmas special count as an episode? If not, he's written only three episodes so far of season 7...

I hear the Ice Warriors are returning though. I don't go out looking for info on what's gonna happen in shows I watch so I don't know any more, but I'm excited about that.

Why did you even leave the bar? I'm still here! Aagsvfjshdfbskjdfsnil...

Fine. I'll make you cookies to make up for it. We even?

guardian_song listed a bunch of really good places to call if you feel yourself spiraling. I have had low periods in my life and calling a help line can give a bit of reprieve from your emotions.

Modding Morrowind is a goddamn nightmare. I'll pass.

I have no dog in this fight, but Norman Reedus kisses ALL of them, Steve Yeun, Andrew Lincoln, and Scott Wilson included.

That's... kind of disturbing but also awesome.

I think you know who I ship. ;)

This.

Well yes, that's why I'm trying to not get too invested in Clara. I always inevitably lose a connection with Moffat's characters because they become secondary to his plots.

I live in Georgia. I will never get to go see this show. I am DYING to go. I would sell a kidney at this point. (Well, not really, but you get what I'm saying.)

I understand completely.

Twice. Both times during the same year on the first day of my period when I'd been standing for a couple of hours straight. I've gotten kind of lightheaded and shaky under similar circumstances since, but never to that degree. I sat down for a while and drank some water afterwards, and was basically fine. But it was pretty upsetting. :(

this was pretty much my though process too.

The Mass Effect series (PC, Xbox, PS3) has multiple human/non-human pairings in it.

Yes, how dare 90 lbs. Carol not straddle her husband and beat his face into the ground like Shane did.

OP, I've been there. I don't know if it will help any, but things did get much better for me, in time. I'm sure things will get better for you, too. I'm not saying it will be easy, or quick, but I know you have brighter days ahead of you. So... just don't give up, okay?

Re: are you afraid of dying?

[personal profile] republicanism 2013-04-05 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
nope. as a cool dude once told me (after telling a story about having a gun pointed in his face) "dying isn't what scares me, what scares me is not living right."

I'd also recommend you go to the doctor same as the anon did, OP. This sounds similar to a Cardiogenic Syncope attack thing I had last year after having a blood test - sudden, dramatic drop in blood pressure, feeling dizzy, falling to the ground, apparently going a washed-out grey colour, appearing to have a seizure (which scared the hell out of my mum, who was taking the blood, because I actually have epilepsy o.O).

The doctor said I was fine after checking me out, but she was at least able to explain what happened and now I know more about it in case I have to have another blood test in future (well, I do, since I never technically completed that one, but :S). If you're able to, it might be best you go.

Good luck.

the owners have never had any kind of testing done on her that would show that. her last vet check they said she was healthy and wouldn't poke around at her as long as she stayed that way. she seems fine mentally, she simply has growth issues.

Seriously, that is what he said.

Also sex on the beaches.

Meanwhile I go to NICE BARS in NEW ORLEANS and drink BOURBON ON THE ROCKS with a CIGAR

I am so the top.

I'm playing both- I'm currently playing Skyrim on console, and Morrowind on laptop- no mouse I can't stand the mouse for any app for the same reasons you do, I use the pad. I play everything on the easiest settings, so no strain on my wrists and the games can be modded to be more custom difficulty if challenge is needed. I plan to move everything to PC soon, but I am so not happy with the Steam thing with Skyrim.

You can play PC with a 360 controller on the PC, and I had planned to for the ease of the controller, but surprisingly I've taken well to the keys and the pad. It was a little difficult with a little strain at first, but that's past. I think they make pads with a usb so that might make it easier for you, since you're not moving your hands and wrists all over the place, and pads have sensitivity control and all that.

But the good thing if you do play on PC and get good with using mods, especially with TES, there are a lot of mods that let you do different things and have grreater options- it is so freeing.

idk I don't think it has anything to do with age-- my younger brother has ALWAYS been absolutely horrified of the aging process and has feared death forever; I'm significantly older but am more like you.
