That's been bugging me like hell lately. I've been looking for internships--something that I could learn from and use as a springboard to a paying job--but all I'm seeing is "Here, manage my social media accounts by yourself for free." Thanks, but no.

Haha yes Ten was so cute in that episode. I always love anything Ten and Sarah Jane though because you can just feel David Tennant fanboying her.

And Death of the Doctor was good too, such great callouts to Classic Who.

I am afraid of getting myself killed, yes, but dying of old age doesn't frighten me. Age-related diseases scare me. Losing my partner scares me. But myself dying peacefully of old age doesn't scare me. I'm not looking forward to it or anything, but I have little reason to be frightened of a biological inevitability.

This is the harsh truth. I've lost plenty of friends (both IRL and online) over the years but I can still look back on most of them with a smile. Maybe you should try to change your attitude regarding this. I know it won't be easy, but it sounds like you might be happier if you succeed.

You know what bugs me, is that you're right, but I hate that you can't just talk about something without people thinking that you're expecting a reply. Like, sometimes a journal entry is just a journal entry. It exists to get thoughts out or my head or to simply explain where I'm at.

You're also automatically assuming if someone is talking about the fact that they're fat and need to work out that it = complaining. That right there is the problem.

I never believed in any of those figures, but the movie still made me a bit sad because I felt like I would've enjoyed the movie more if I'd seen it as a kid regardless.

Yes. I very deliberately avoid thinking about my own death as much as possible. If I do I end up queasy and anxious and break into a cold sweat. I've tried reading and learning more about death and it's customs and processes objectively to try to lessen the fear, but it hasn't worked to stop the absolute horror and helplessness I feel whenever I think about the fact that I'm inevitably going to die.

As for what Daryl needs...hrm. I agree he needs people in his life that he can be comfortable with and let the gentler parts of himself show. I don't necessarily agree that it has to be Carol simply because I'm uncomfortable with the suggestion that this has to come from a romantic relationship, which is the way the writers really do seem to be angling it.

OTOH, unlike River--who only shows up in episodes written by Moffat--she'll be written by other people, and thus hopefully get a chance to be more than just a plot device.

My cat who passed away used to fart all the time. She was such a delicate looking lady, but her farts were foul. My boy farts sometimes, but they don't make me run for the hills. My dog on the other hand has awful sulfuric farts that follow you. I blame it on the fact that my mom likes to give her eggs.

Your cats farting might be a dietary thing, or it might just be a farter. But if it worries you, take your kitty to the vet and they'll be able to help you.

I don't want to die... So I would say yes? I am a lot more scared of getting severely injured than dying, so if I had to choose between those two I would probably prefer death? But in general, I don't want to die before I am 110 and done with everything I want to do in life.

Oh c'mon, I don't think asking your daughter to help you not die would be abuse. Purposely trying to manipulate Rapunzel into staying with her and keeping everything the same and not having her own life by saying "I'll die without you and NOPE there's nothing else we can do" and refusing to change her ways or look for a compromise or a better option -- that would be abusive, but just laying the facts out on the table isn't.

What should she do, just let herself die? True, that would be a feasible option, especially given that she's already really old, but I couldn't exactly blame someone for not wanting to take it.
