16. "Stop seeing rape as relationship foreplay", huh. That's a bad cliché brought to you mainly by doujinshika. It doesn't mean all fans of yaoi agree with it. On that note, how many hentai doujinshi don't involve women getting degraded/raped? I'm sure there are some, but they would be difficult to find. Same goes for yaoi.

I can't help but find it hilarious when people just don't have it in them to stay away from things they don't like. It's the internet. I'm sorry your taste in fics/whatever does not prevail, but it's something most of us have to live with.

Tony's always been flawed and complicated and a easier to identify with because he's human, rather than a paragon of shining virtue.

oh, man, i have no idea who the secretmaker is, or who she/he is talking about, but... i had the EXACT. SAME. EXPERIENCE. ^_^ and in my head, it's the same person who caused it for both of us, because it's funnier that way. ♥

granted, there are a ton of yamada d. yonezou djs i could be squeeing over, many of them translated/scanalated, if i could tolerate that pairing, but it's hardly like we lose. ^_~ the data pair is made of win. it's got snark! it's got history! it's got intense sexy rivalry, measured within +/- 3%!

9. If I actually wrote fic I would probably do that too. What I hate about fics in which authors actually write that is that they're the ones least likely to be finished. But quite a few of them (on ff.net, I presume) are crappy writers anyway.

OMG, I loved the gameplay on that game but I HATED the storyline. I thought Marche was a total asshole. I mean, his friends had been sucked into this world where they had everything they ever wanted, especially his little brother, and he wanted to them to all go BACK? He was the only one who had it easy in the real world! Not to mention that the entire game he had absolutely no way of knowing whether Ivalice was real or not, so he wanted to destroy a world that might very well be full of real people...Also, you go into the jagds. NOBODY goes into the jagds, except for bloodthirsty bandits and murderers -- and you. Great.

I felt like I was playing the villain of a normal RPG. Marche was basically an insane Gnostic warlord who was trying to break the universe and turn it back into a world of suffering. I've played a lot of RPGs where I hated the main character, but this was definitely the worst.

Moogles are cute though.

Thought I had to throw something in, too. I'm actually the exact opposite of you. I didn't like the gameplay, (Mostly because the game is so friggin' easy, especially compared to the original Tactics) but I like Marche.

Marche loved the dream world, too. It hurt him to choose to go back. And he did not have it completely easy in the real world. His mother gave all her attention to Doned. He gave up a lot of wants and needs for his brother. (I have to deal with a similar situation, I've got a sibling with special needs so I connect with Marche on that level) He was picked on for being the new kid. No, Marche did not have an easy life. Hell, Ritz is the one who has it the easiest. Her problem? Oh no, her hair is white and she has to dye it.

His friends were all running away from their problems. Going back meant that they had to deal with their issues, not hide them. Doned learns to cope with being in a wheelchair. Ritz learns that her hair is an issue only because she makes it one. Mewt learns how to stand up for himself rather than wait for someone else to come protect him. I probably could not have made the same choice as Marche. I would have wanted to stay in the dream Ivalice and indulge in fantasy forever. In the end, everyone turns out much happier than they were in the real world than in the dream world once they learn to solve their problems and not run away from them.

26. Nothing wrong with wanting an attractive partner. I don't think I'd really want to date someone I didn't find physically attractive in some way, but if their personality is shit then it doesn't matter how hot they are.
