What makes you think that Shinji knows nothing about sex? I mean, he clearly gets that Misato was trying to sleep with him ( I didn't get that the first time I was watching when I was younger).

Also, while anime!Kaworu is rather suggestive, manga!Kaworu doesn't seem to understand human interaction at all (when Asuka call shim a pervert he's confused, he kisses Shinji while he's hyperventilating, etc.)

Harry Potter. I haven't read a good HP fic in months. I'd kill for something long and uber plotty, but nothing like that has come from the fandom in years (I ship Harry/anyone except Ginny and read gen, as well, so it's not like I'm being super picky ship-wise, either).

It's the same with Supernatural and Merlin. I can't even re-read my old favorites because I've read them so many times already.

HP, SPN, and Merlin are my main fandoms, and it sucks so hard that I can hardly get into them anymore.

The only reason why I haven't been outright depressed because of this is 'cause I've been devouring the Doctor Who and Teen Wolf fandoms.

I've been having a supremely shitty week and those baby spiders put a smile on my face with their arachnoid adorableness.

I'm a slightly different but similar boat, since I finished my program and I have a degree, but jobs are so tight around here are that the only ones I can get are the ones I really don't want to work thanks to social anxiety. University really wasn't worth it so soon after high school, and part of me wishes I'd never gone and done something more productive and fulfilling with that chapter of my life.

I would actually enjoy being a prostitute, so long as I was somewhere where prostitution was legalized and regulated. The problem is, I don't think I'm physically attractive enough for legal prostitution. :(

I wouldn't say tired exactly, but I haven't been involved in Hobbit fandom lately. There are still fics I'll catch up with in the future and it's not like my love has faded, but for right now that isn't where my interests lie. When more Desolation of Smaug stuff comes out I'll be all over it though.

My writing preferences are seasonal, too. I wanted to write a work for a fandom that is very winter-centric, but I found out I couldn't. That's awkward. Now I need to wait until the next winter comes.

Agreed. Professional settings--specifically ones associated with the state--generally don't allow religious icons or messages of any kind. Even my super-Republican and conservative state doesn't allow you to, say, hang crosses on your desk. :)

I half think they're okay with that.

Not necessarily seasonally, but there's certain music I definitely only listen to at certain rare times. On the other hand, I very consciously change my desktop background seasonally and at very few other times.
