This is how I feel about Steve/Tony

Fucking everywhere. If you go look at the kink meme's most recent pages, you'll see so many IM3 Spoiler tags with Steve/Tony as the fucking pairing in the header, and Steve wasn't even mentioned in the movie. Same for AUs. Same for surprise-pairings in gen fic. It makes me so mad.

I respond by writing Clint/Coulson. :)

(On the plus side, I at least tag my pairings, though.)

That one. Is it because you had (^dU/_{dX)(dX), and you pulled the dx from ^dU/dX over?}

Not really; it's because they're rates of change. Hence here they behave as parts of a fraction. Say, if u changes twice as fast as x, we can safely assume the relationship above is true.

I love the show! I just ignore people whining about it not being ~serious. It's been, what, five years or something since the last Teen Titans series? Things change. :p

Funny, because I feel the exact same about Clint/Tasha. It's in the background of every other fucking fic and I HATE IT SO MUCH. At least in the movie verse, they're just good friends. We don't get enough male/female friendships and I like to enjoy them as just that, friendships. I don't care if people like to ship it, I just don't want to see them shipped in EVERY fic I read for other pairings.

Uh, I really don't think the writers actually intended for even a second to convince anyone that his accent was French. They probably just went "Who the fuck gives a shit about accents? This is Star Trek! People can live to be 137 and San Francisco is the capital of the world!"

Well, they at least have comics canon to back the subtext up. Clint/Coulson doesn't. And yes, different 'verse, but you can't expect people not to dip into the comics for inspiration.
