11. Very true. Whenever I see ship stuff for Maya and Phoenix I want to gag because I feel like it’s incest. Seriously, they act like brother and sister, at least that is how I see it. Honestly. When someone smashes you over the head with a huge hunk of metal and all you scream at them is, “OW WHAT THE HECK, MY HAIR!! 11. What I loved about PW was that it was more about the stupid jokes, the bonds of family and friendship, "law" and honor.

Yeah, I'm in that ship, and tbh, nobody has used the term pumpkin pie in several years, and even then, it was never popular. Harmony is the most common term, I think.

The age difference doesn't instrinsically bother me--I don't have the same averse reaction to Phoenix/Franziska as I do to Phoenix/Maya, which is the same gap--but their relationship and interactions really do highlight that he sees her as a kid (a kid he adores and loves with all his heart, but all the same), and as someone he has to look out for and be responsible for besides. That's what sort of gets to me.

1. Actually, a good fic properly explores the villians without making them cuddly or fluffy or whatnot. And if you put your mind to it, you probably can write a good villian fanfic.

30. Part of me really wants to know who this secret is about. And part of me doesn't so I can pretend that it's about me ~_~ I know I'm shallow, no one needs to point it out. Really, I can't tell you how glad I am that you were so touched. Honestly, I think we are just as good of friends outside of fandom, but we always wind up talking about E7, anyway. ;D I also feel very lucky and/or blessed to have gotten to know you, especially through a series I love so much!
LOL, omg the mutual secret. I can't wait to see it, just on principle. I can't get over how amazing that is! Wow~~~.

I feel that way about a lot of fandoms and pairings. It seems that, a lot of the time, there'll be these two characters with this awesome relationship, and that won't be good enough for people unless they make it a romantic thing. Why try to alter what is already awesome?

(This is actually how I've always felt about Hiei and Kurama. They have such an awesome brotherly vibe between them that I just could never "get" them as a pairing.)
