♥! Yeah, the drama that came from Bou's departure was awful. I admit I freaked a little (*cough*) at Yuuki at first but God I fell in love with him the same day. It isn't just about pretty Japanese boys. (I won't complain about fandom's supply of icons though. *shifty eyes*)

I'm the OP for #31.

The other thing I forgot to mention was that I had planned on stepping down from Sage status at the end of this month. I got so angry that Nintendo was being half-assed with the Sage program: they sent me -and a couple others- two shitty games I'd NEVER buy at retail (Brain Age and Magnetica), while everyone else got stuff like Animal Crossing: WW, Diddy Kong Racing and Super Paper Mario.

Not to mention the system overall was terribly, terribly flawed.

I also stopped entering fan art contests after the Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones one, since the Digital Art entry was -essentially- a traced Eirika picture, but with one of her arms altered. That DISGUSTED me to the point where I no longer wanted to participate in them. (After a huge shitstorm with the 'Harvest Moon' contest a few months later, they got better about clamping down on traces)

But yet, in some masochistic way, I am gonna miss the place. Sure, a new community will be along in a couple years, but still...

Anyhow, sorry for the tl;dr comment, but I wanted to add on to what I couldn't fit in the secret itself.

(I love how even HE seems to be aware that he is an emo bitchy drama queen at times, and seems to have MORE respect for people who can shrug or laugh him off when he pulls that shit, than for people who take him seriously all the time.)

34. Poor Edgeworth. I don't know, I think everyone just thinks he's hot and it gets majorly annoying. Though I consider the games just a basis for character personality... you can do a lot with him within the fandom itself.

Not everyone! I don't really think of the characters of PW as hot (except for Godot and crazy Engarde because I'm a FREAK like that), but I adore all of them so much for their personalities. Not everyone in fandom is shallow. ;)

1. Ugh, in the same boat. Sure there are a few nice guys in fandom (I found one or two) but they're eaither 1) gay, 2) taken, 3) just don't seem intreseted in me. :(

005. I went through like a two month stretch where Brock was in every one of my dreams, and I felt really weird. And then I met Doc Hammer and he started showing up too. Now it's back to just Brock (most of the time I have to help him look for Dean, I do not know why).

#9 I experienced exactly the same thing. I remember being a kid, and see his hair and being so amazed, because I'd never seen guys like that before. Now I adore men with long hair.

18. was it that they were non-anime that they didn't get comments or that they were for a fandom so obscure that no one hardly knew what they were?

even with anime that is obscure, I find some secrets get ignored or hardly commented on.

I think it has less to do with anime vs. non-anime and more with recognition.

Yeah, I've posted at least two anime-related secrets that didn't get commented on just because they weren't well-known series, and I've seen non-anime fandom secrets get a fair amount of comments, so it's not necessarily true that anime secrets get more comments just because they're anime.
