What's the most fucked up thing you've rooted for in a show/movie/book/etc,?

A friend was telling me about how she was in one fandom where apparently a lot of people wanted the main female character to actually get together with her rapist (who I think was also a murderer or at least just an all around psycho) and I couldn't think of any examples myself. I'm sure I have some, I just can't think of them right now.

I gather from your comment it's a game or some sort of propaganda site. It's scary that a government uses secret courts and spies on its citizens, and then tries to indoctrinate the children so future generations won't show any resistance. I can't think of any governments that aren't scary. It seems like they all either openly or secretly spy on their citizens or kill them.
