37. I sort of doubt that. I'm assuming your North American? (Some Japanese people, mostly women to men- are attracted to foreigners. Some not. It depends. It's harder for women because Western women aren't as quiet/ conserved usually to the Japanese females.) Don't put yourself down because you think you'd be disliked. I'm sure you're very pretty. amen. i've heard the same about japanese men. a friend of mine from japan said he didnt want a japanese girl because they're TOO skinny, men prefer breasts, usually, over a flat tummy. (this is obviously a total generalization, i'm just going on what i know about guys i know)

Not necessarily a comment on the secret, but a question about the reactions--why is everyone getting so riled up about the OVA? It has its flaws, but I've yet to see a change that's big enough to warp the entire story or characterizations of the game.

11. I read Romeo & Juliet many years ago and only recenetly discovered RxJ. While little could compare to Shakespeare's original work, RxJ is great for what it is. Think of it as an AU(a damn good AU).

11. Don't even bother comparing most anime based on books. They may follow it in name, but they will always deviate. I had actually just finished reading the book when Gankutsuou came out and I still enjoyed it. In fact, the 2002 movie is what really pissed me off...I wanted my goddamn rental money back after watching that piece of shit, lol.

35. You must have one hell of a home situation. D:

1. Oh, I know how that is! I feel the same way sometimes. XD;; But often I've found that picking up a new series with characters I've been with in an RP actually makes me appreciate it more. I get really excited whenever I see characters I recognize. XD

2. Oh! Please do post some stuff! I love seeing new fanficcers or artists in the fandoms I'm frequent, and I'm sure other people feel the same! The way you get to know people is by posting. ^^ Don't worry--you already have a common interest with them!

I read an abdriged version of Romeo and Juliet a couple years ago. However, the way the abridged version was written was very bland, so I had no interest in it. It was until this year that we read the actual in class that I realized how good the play actually was, and how much Romeo X Juliet paled in comparison. Don't get so preachy, because there are plenty of people who love RXJ and still don't appreciate the original. At least I do.

25: *hugs* It's depressing and terrifying, because in the first you're still lonely and in the second, if you make a post Out There you're liable to be eaten alive by someone who doesn't like you/your viewpoint.

Fandom's a scary place when you're alone.
