I hate when somebody tries to tell me something is objectively better than something else, when it's an issue that's completely a matter of taste. Once people were talking about grape juice and someone kept saying "The white grape juice is better. Everybody likes it better," and when I said I didn't she just repeated that, like I was going to suddenly change my mind. And then I let it go because it's fucking grape juice and who cares, but I hate discussions like that.

I read the first book a couple of days ago and I'm in the middle of the second. I think it's...okay? Is anyone here super into it? Is there fandom? I looked up the cast for the movie and it doesn't match my headcanon at all, but then again I tend to picture book characters as sort of hybrids of cartoons and real people.

So Mulan -> Aurora are now text, but not Aurora -> Mulan. And I can't bring myself to catch up on the show.

Knotting is a weird idea, unless it involves Lux Interior who wasn't a werewolf but could certainly have been a wereterrier of some sort.

I can't do random thoughts, because humans uniquely fail at randomness. There's a white-hat password cracker using about half of the sentences in Wikipedia as his dictionary.

I think everyone should have at least one Mary-Sue/OC self-insert they can return to at the drop of a hat. They don't ever need to exist outside of your head, or you can write/draw/create an entire alternate universe where they're part of canon, whatever, so long as you have a stupidly overpowered, attractive, clever, wonderful character who everyone loves (and/or loves to hate) that you can pull up for entertainment whenever you feel like it. I think it would keep fandom from getting too serious. (Besides which, Mary Sues are a lot of fucking fun to play around with.)
