Hey, look it. It's this durn movie R.O.T.O.R. It's about a killer robocop in Texas and it's pretty much the most Texas thing that Texas'd. It's not a very good movie, but it's hilarious in that '80's B-movie way. And, honestly, everyone should experience the majesty of the other robot character, Sassy Robot Cop, who wears a cute little hat and sighs a lot in the cutest way.

THEN, it's MANBORG. Manborg fights, like, demon Nazis and the bad guy is called Draculon. Also, Manborg and his friends battle in a gladiatorial arena because that's what you do in post-apocalyptic futures. It's an newer film that fashions itself as a homage to B-movies while being low-budget itself. (IMO, it does a pretty good job at being exactly what it wants to be.)

And, Eliminators , a movie that is pretty much everything and the kitchen sink, robots, androids, rowdy river boat captains and ninjas. And more. So much more. Also, Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar from Star Trek TNG) reinforces the fact that she really likes androids, especially fully functional ones.

Does anyone else run into this in fanfic? Because I've run into it several times looking through Bleach fic recently and it's getting annoying.

Hollow Ichigo, Shinji, Renji and Gin suddenly always saying 'ta', 'ter', 'yar' and 'yer' and 'ya' instead of to, too, you're, your and you really throws me out of the story and I have to backbutton. They sound like cheezy pirates. I could see doing it occasionally if they affect/have an accent, but every single time?

Same thing with Hagrid in HP fanfic. I had to start skimming or skipping his dialogue in most fics.

What are your favourite smush names?

I posted here a couple of times before about how I was losing my place to live and didn't make enough to find anything else, and I was so afraid and desperate I was becoming suicidal.

Well... today I found out I got a new position at work. I thought I had no chance at it, but I got it and I start in less than two weeks. I'm going to be making a heck of a lot more money, so... I don't have to worry about becoming homeless anymore.

Thank you to all the people who were supportive of me here, I really appreciate it. (I may not be able to answer comments though because I'm still working my regular shift for now and I need some sleep.)

I've been procrastinating and need to carve mine tonight. Been debating all week, but I think I'm going to go with the what pumpkin logo. NO ONE WHO SEES SHALL UNDERSTAND IT.
