My nephew, who I usually take out on this day, is off playing with his great aunts in Florida. So, I have no plans other than I just bought myself a chocolate bar with maple bacon and smoked sea salt in it (my treat) and watching a Netflix horror movie marathon.

What are your plans?

I'm not really doing anything. I'm going to wear a witch hat and hand out candy, probably while watching some classic DW (The Silurians). Boo for weekday Halloween.

But on Saturday I'm DM'ing the famous Gary Gygax "Tomb of Horrors" module with my friends! I've never DM'd before so I hope it goes well! I think I'm going to just wear black and be Death from the Sandman-- IF I can find my freaking ankh. I haven't worn it in 4+ years so I'm going crazy as to where the hell it is.

Laying around being sick as hell. I'm legit sick and luckily (?) half the people on my shift called out of work too so even if they are faking it, I'm not the only one who is suspiciously missing work on Halloween.

Hopefully I'm going to hang out watching horror movies with my BFFsies! we're still hashing out those plans, but fortunately, we all keep weird hours, so I could head over whenever.

Hanging out with family and passing out candy. :) I spent the afternoon hanging out with one of my high school friends I haven't seen in about a year, which was so fun!

Our apartments did Trick-or-Treating Tuesday night so I am laying around watching movies while listening to the storm and bitching about my runny nose.

Nothing! My neighborhood does trick-or-treating the Saturday before Halloween and most people have their parties the weekend before, too. Some people go out to bars in costume on Halloween night, but it's usually not much fun if it's a work night. Honestly, this year it's like Halloween was spread out over several days and then sort of petered out the middle of this week. Stores have already shoved the Halloween stuff over and are putting out the Christmas things BEFORE ACTUAL HALLOWEEN.

Going over to my sister's house, making some soap, bringing along my awesome pumpkin so that it can actually be seen by someone other than myself.

On Halloween, suburbs > sketchy apartments.

I had surgery yesterday so I'm recovering from that. I'll probably watch Nightmare Before Christmas while my roommate hands out candy.

I don't think we'll get a single trick-or-treater, despite the new sidewalk the city put in, but who knows? The Monstrous Bebe is out and about with her bestie, herding the bestie's nephew and other assorted kids door to door. It's windy, chilly, and drizzling, so...better them than me.

I'm gonna watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and basically lounge around.

Nothing much; I haven't passed out candy in the last couple years. (The kids stopped coming to our house anyway, so there's no point in buying it.)

So I'll probably watch some bad TV then play Arkham Origins.

Well it was yesterday but I spent the time making sure my housemates black cat wasn't outdoors 'cause apparently some little shits in our suburb were running around egging cats.

....we don't even celebrate halloween here jfc


and now I'm wondertrading giant pumpkaboos cause that's a cute idea

It's late now, but I spent the evening being sad that my flatmate wouldn't let me open the door to trick-or-treating kids. It's his flat and I just rent a room, so I didn't raise a fuss, but still. =( That man is paranoid and possibly into something illegal, as he has no obvious source of income (other than the rent I pay) and his "golden rule" is to never answer the door or the buzzer unless I'm 100% sure that it's someone I know.

I bought candy just in case trick-or-treating would be allowed, though, which means that I have now eaten several mini Twix bars. =)
