04. I've been meaning to watch this for a while now... Anime related to card games have never really been my thing, but I remember reading some interview with the director (where he said that they'd be focusing more on telling a good story than trying to promote some merchandise) that made me intrigued.

07. Maybe you should try to get another job? You're obviously not happy with the one you have now, and I doubt your students are enjoying the situation either.

15. I've never looked into the fandom for this series, but I guess it doesn't come as much of a surprise that it's only mainly older people in it. But hey, age doesn't matter, right? If it makes you feel any better, I was in my early teens when I first read the book. So, y'know, you're not the only one or anything.

16. The Shadow and Harry Vincent, as a pairing? I... I utterly adore you. It's been a long time since I last read the books (something you've just reminded me that I must rectify), but I loved them to bits -- and, yes, I did definately see the slashy potential between those two.

20. Uh. What kind of school do you attend? I've never had (or even heard of) a class that made students kill the animal they were supposed to dissect.

28. Aw, don't feel bad. I don't think there's anything wrong with that! I love it when I dream of characters I like, so I guess it'd be pretty cool if there was some way dreams like that could be induced.

8. Plagiarism sucks and can ruin a fandom unfortunately. I hate you're having to deal with it. And having BNF status really wouldn't help your case, you'd probably just get even more flak in the long run. The problem is you see a lot of ass kissing fans out there who will defend people regardless of what charges are laid against them. I had a fanart of mine blatantly traced and presented as an original piece and then once it was out that the girl had traced it you still had people defending her and in the end I was the heinous bitch because I cared.

Considering how enormous the fandom is, you're probably right. :/ It's just so very frustrating to see something you put a lot of work into shamelessly ripped off. But... well. I kinda wish I'd never found out about this. And sorry to hear you got ripped like that yourself. There's nothing wrong with caring about your creations.

I really don't see how Kevin J. Anderson destroyed the fandom anymore than any other expanded universe author might have (or hell, any more than LUCAS did with the frikkin prequels)

Moreover, if he destroyed a fandom it sure as hell wasn't way back with some of the first expanded universe novels EVER. 0_o The Jedi Academy Trilogy wasn't that, bad, jeez.

I'll have to agree on 26. I was into it for a while, but everything after Water 7 just dragged the hell on to nowhere and I gave up. Too many characters to keep track of, not enough overall plot advancement (these arcs are all very nice, but are the main cast really any closer to achieving their goals?). I don't have the attention span to stay into a series that's mostly character-based filler for all that long. If the overall plot isn't going anywhere, I'm out.

I've had a couple boyfriends, but I've never been much into the whole dating thing, because my 'perfect man' has always just been words on a page. (...well, eventually a character in a movie, too, but you get what I mean.) And he died, too, in the end. D: It sucks.

27. It's Across the Universe. It's during a musical number. He's a main chara, she's just an extra for the song. He's been injured in Vietnam, and the whole ward is currently performing "Happiness is a Warm Gun." One of the better scenes, in my opinion. ;D
