I find it weird that ppl really don't like the YJK series because honestly? I've got so much love for them, they were really good stories on their own,that really kept me waiting for the next book to come out....I gotta say though, I've always felt that Mara Jade was the biggest Mary Sue, and I agree, the New Jedi Order blows chunks.

34. I justify this by telling myself that it's not a furry comic. They aren't anthropomorphized enough, you can tell by the overall style that the author isn't living vicariously through the characters. It's not a furry comic, so I'm okay!

Not the OP, but I highly recommend Princess Tutu (secret 43) to everyone ever. It's fantastic shojo and it's great to see a magical girl anime with so much thought and effort put into it.
