18. God, I feel you. Most doctors don't care at all about their patients and just want more and more money...my girlfriend had a really bad ulcer and they just kept saying that wasn't what it was, it was in her head, one even said that she was just *constipated* (wtf) until she finally found that one person that believed her. Now she's almost completely better. So I'm really happy that you found someone who actually listened to you. ♥

Not the secretOP or anything, but I think there's a pretty big difference between seeing why other people might like a series and not thinking it's good yourself. It's like how X might understand that Y and Z like this or that anime cause it has tons of fanservice, but as it's not X's cup of tea they don't find it to be good.

(...Did that even make sense? Urgh, sorry if it didn't -- it's late and I'm tired, but still felt like discussing cause I thought it was an interesting topic.)

And I do like Bleach better than One Piece, but Bleach isn't exactly the best series out there either.

... oh, nice. Thanks for the tip! It's been immensely frustrating to deal with this. This happened once before- about nine years ago, in a different and very tiny fandom where I WAS something of a BNF. I had so much support from friends there. Now that I'm in a HUGE fandom working with a very tiny ship, it gets difficult to deal with without alienating those few who also share interest in the pairing. :/

KIBA has such a small, inactive fandom and despite its faults I think it did really well with Zed and Noa -- oh, especially Noa's -- character development and speculating about the power structure and how power can corrupt people. Seriously, no joke. I want to know who you are. That way we don't have to feel weird and alone in the fandom. Please? ^.^;;
05) That was a really fun game, and admittedly Van is pretty dag hot. But eek, you do sound self-inserting. X.x;;
29) They're Billy and Veronica from RE0, right? I've never played the game, but I've watched my sister play it, and they do have some great, cute even interaction. I'm not big about the age gap, but they deserve more love.

23. As much as I am totally, madly, completely in love with Godot? I was totally underwhelmed by that case. No case will ever be epic like the fourth case from the second game was, sorry. ):

37. I'm just hoping it isn't bad. I HAVE FAITH IN TIM BURTON, but knowing the history of Fleet Street murders fairly well means that if there are egregious historical inaccuracies.. they're all I'll focus on. woe.

40. .... AHAHAH awww. I sympathize, if only because I did something exactly like that once, only ten times more egregious. I blame RP several years ago for making me associate Yuki Sohma with Arthur Dimmesdale to the point that I actually called him "Yuki Dimmesdale" once - and I didn't realize it until the friend I was with went "who?" I couldn't breathe for laughing for about two minutes.

...oh DAMMIT, I'm a huge Shadow/Margo Lane fan but I can totally see snarly angry non-con Shadow/Harry Vincent.

Now I wish we had both signed up for Yuletide or something--I'd write it for you. :(

(By the way, I've heard a rumour that Sam Raimi has the rights to make a new Shadow movie. He's been wanting to do it for years--Darkman was supposed to be The Shadow, but that fell through for a number of reasons--so the thought makes me more than a little bouncy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Jennifer Connelly or Rachel Weisz as Margo. ♥ )

I like Shadow/Margo Lane in the radio show, but haven't read any books with her yet. I know pulp fans hate her, but it is also said she redeems herself in few books in.

I keep finding that I wish I had done Yuletide. I have to do it next year and hope someone will do The Shadow fic.
