I've been trying to drink more water because it's the best thing ever, but I'm still only managing 6 glasses a day.

I have no idea, but not that much.(I mean not as much as 6 glasses.) Drinking too much water can be really, really bad for you.

About a litre*, sometimes less sometimes more...

I was taught that you are only supposed to drink when you are thirsty, so as long as you don't have any health issues that means you have to drink more water there isn't a need to drink if you aren't thirsty.

Your body should in theory know how much food and water it needs.

*Most of it isn't pure water tho, I drink eh whatever it is called in English, concentrated fruit juice you add water to.

I can't remember the last time I drank actual water.

I drink way too much diet coke and not enough water. I've started buying those crystal light singles in order to drink more water. I just really don't like just plain water.

I've been trying pretty hard to drink more over the past year or two because it makes my IBS considerably less painful most of the time. It also makes me have to pee much more often, which is expected but really annoying. So I go through alternating phases of "must drink entire 32-ounce cup of water in half an hour...ohgodbathroom" and "it would be really nice to not have to get up every couple hours...ohgodtheagony"

At least three water bottles. I got kidney stones once and the doctor said it could be because of how little water I drink. I am ensuring that will never happen again.

idk, do other drinks count as well? because while i drink pure water several times per day, i also drink coffee, tea, orange juice and beer pretty much every day.

I don't keep track but a good amount, since I only really drink water and tea. Probably at least 5 or 6 glasses a day.

Anywhere between 24 and 120+ fl. oz, mostly depending on how caught up in my work I get, and thus how often I refill my 24oz water bottle at work. Similar on weekends, but it then depends on how often I actually get up to refill cups.

I am a) pretty much always thirsty and b) capable of downing said 24oz bottle at one go, so my trick to drinking more water has generally been to use larger cups.

I try for about 48oz. a day (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less) but I've been lacking in recent weeks.

BTW One of my friends says when she drinks water it makes her pee a lot more. For me, I can usually depend on needing to pee about 1 or 2 hours after I drink water. I don't think it makes my bladder seem more active than usual though. Anyone else feel like my friend?

Straight up water? Probably about 32oz a day, sometimes more sometimes less. I have one of those large Nalgene bottles I fill and try to get at least one in me.

But I get water intake from a lot of things - lots of foods and other drinks still count as getting your liquids per day.

I don't keep track at home but when I'm visiting, mom says it's around 2 liters per day because of how much more often she has to buy water.

None. It nauseates me, for some reason. I can only drink stuff that's either carbonated (Diet Coke), highly acidic (100% grapefruit juice), or both (sparkling cranberry juice) without feeling awful for hours afterwards.

I drink about a 20oz of CF Diet Coke every day, which is pretty much fizzy brown-colored water. :P Plus some juices and stuff.

More than the average person; I have dry mouth from my medication. I basically have a bottle with me everywhere I go, and a glass by me at home. I need it for saliva, in order to talk and eat properly. I get very uncomfortable if I'm dry and have no water available.

I don't drink water (except after exercise) but I do drink black tea, and that usually runs me about 1L/day.

I drank 6 litres today because I'm having a bit of a cold, and my skin looks amazing. I'm definitely gonna try and drink more.

It's usually 2 - 3 litres.

Pure water, usually two 12 oz glasses. Three if I exercise. Additionally, 12 oz of soda, and then there's milk on my cereal and if I have a cup of tea or something. If I feel thirsty, I drink. If I drink when I'm not thirsty I'll pee it out 20-30 minutes later.

1 - 3 litres.

I don't know in glasses. I drink about four small cups of coffee daily, and I have a 750ml bottle of water that I refill as necessary. I keep it with me and drink whenever I'm thirsty. I'd say ... 2 litres a day? Maybe?

I manage between 4 and 8. Three or less makes me pretty dry.

I try to drink a couple of glasses a day but I like my fruit juice as well so I don't always manage it.
