Who the fuck cares if they want to improve fandom? They can cause all the wank they want in their little corner of it; just ignore them and I'm sure they'll go away. Sure, they'll have their little fangirls/boys hanging on to every mean spirited word they say but seriously? WHO CARES? If they want to help fandom, then they can. If they don't, then whatever. 32. IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. Seriously I thought that would happen. I eventually accepted that the story HAD to go that way.. as Tutu was not fated for the prince... but darnit I thought they were supposed to break OUT of that story! atleast Rue got more likable at the end. T__T

It's so confusing to me how everyone loves rue/mytho duck/fakir. i was totally cheering Duck on to win Mytho's affection for like most of the series.

They did break out of the story, though. Tutu was supposed to be a minor character and disappear in a flash of light, and Kraehe was supposed to be incapable of love. Everybody was supposed to end in tragedy, and they defied that by making a happy ending instead.

32. I do think they were cute together, but I was incredibly happy with the way the series progressed and ended. I was really pleased to everyone break free from the molds of their roles and make choices for themselves instead of being guided or forced into what Drosselmeyer wanted or expected of them.

Fakir and Ahiru are my ultimate OTP, but I will always have a soft spot for Mytho/Tutu-Ahiru, too. They were sweet, but I'm one for more relationship development and growing bonds. But I'll use my Mytho/Ahiru icon just for you. ...Since I don't have a Mytho/Tutu one uploaded. >>;

A few fics and two communities that never update. But y'know? I could get into this ship... I tend to ship anything so long as it doesn't involve the Akatsuki.

KakaIru is seriously almost an empire to rival the actual Naruto manga at this point, especially in Japan--I go to Yahoo!Japan occasionally to look for doujinshi and I kid you not, there will be something like 250 pages of results for Naruto doujinshi, and of those 250 pages, 20 of the 25 results for each page will be KakaIru. I know because I actually went through about 50 or so pages of results just to see before giving up in despair.

It's staggering and I really for the life of me can't see why the hell this ship is so popular when there's so little basis for it in canon and Iruka literally hasn't even been in the manga since around the end of the Chuunin exams. You want to know why Iruka continues to rank so high in those character polls even though he's for all intents and purposes a nonentity in the manga now? KakaIru fangirls voting him up. It's crazy.

Though, if you want to talk about popular illogical ships, GenHaya is actually even more illogical than KakaIru: hello, the two of them NEVER ONCE MEET IN CANON. HAYATE IS IN A CANON RELATIONSHIP WITH YUUGAO. And yet you see GenHaya stuff all over the place and almost nothing for Hayate/Yuugao. *clings to Moonlight on Masks*.

Honestly, I don't like f_w either. I mean, setting up an entire community for the purpose of mocking other people on the internet - the entire concept just seems like such an asshole thing to do. Then they cover their asses by saying it's all for the lulz. 4chan and Encyclopedia Dramatica get away with asshattery like that because they go so far over the top that there's no way they can be taken seriously. f_w skirts too close to the line for my comfort.

And I'm just as much as a hypocrite as you on this one, because I still think that 'Elijah Wood, Moon God' is the fucking funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. f_w can be funny, but it's funny in the way that tripping someone in the cafeteria and then pointing and laughing is funny.

27: I sort of agree with this. I mean, I like certain slash/femslash pairings, I've certainly got no problem with the concept. I try to ship gender-neutral, honestly. But... there's a lot of it. Like... I love the PW fandom like whoa, it's awesome and great and yay. Hell, I even sort of ship Phoenix/Edgeworth, though not all that hugely. But on the (crazy awesome) PW kinkmeme... it's flood after flood of P/E E/P NaruMitsu, etc, and in some ways it's almost causing me to resent the pairing XD;

Actually, one of the ideas for an original story bouncing in my mind focuses on a bunch of college students. And if it were to ever get written, I'd definitely have my friends and I as secondary/tertiary characters in the background just for that reason or something >_>
