4) D= At first I was going to freak, but then I realized I kind of agree.

It's not that I dislike Harry Potter, but some things go well together and some things don't. Like peanut butter, goes great with jelly and chocolate but not green beans.

I'm not sure which I'd hate more-- a Mary-Sue fic for X or a HP crossover. They're both just...so...strange.

X and HP are just far too different.

I LOVE The Monkees!!! I'm 25 too, but I've loved them since I was very little. I would watch the show on Nick at Nite, and listen to my cassette tapye over and over again. (so much in fact, that we had to buy 3 because I would ware them out) I got to see them in concert about 10 years ago, it was so awesome! I would love if all 4 of them would get together and tour again.

I'm sorry to say that I'm one of those raging people (sometimes) whose personal fanon I think of as canon, because I just can't think of the characters any other way. But I do acknowledge in some cases there is room for flexibility. So keep you head up, and write your fic, but keep in FL in your journal or something.

Haha, 29. One of my oldest fandom friends is exactly like that. But I think mine might be shittier than yours. Her art's pretty halfass, but her content isn't even THAT good. Her idea of a crossover is to take characters from one fandom and have them act out scenes/episodes from another fandom, word for word, no matter how OOC. And the lead female is always her Mary Sue.

But she draws my characters a lot for free, and she's a lot of fun to talk to. I just have to keep finding excuses not to have to read her godawful fiction.
