5. I agree on some level...and yet I don't. Because those two pairings are the ones I ship the most. However, simply because I give Fakiru more of my fandom-loving, it's like no one even registers when I do give Rue and Mytho some love. It's annoying, really. I won't dare deny that I do like the Fakir/Ahiru pairing a lot more (they and their relationship was a much more interesting to me), but I give both love, and yet I'm constantly pegged as though I only like Fakir/Ahiru. :/ Hell, I even draw the four of them together a lot, or couple pictures with the same type of theme. I can't write Mytho or Rue very well though, so the fanfiction area for them I opt out of. Seriously, if you want them to get even more love, how about offering them some of yours too? I hope you're not a lurker. The fandom is too small and needs more love, period. :(

28. I love Chrono. XDDD <33 I didn't think he had a speech problem or anything. I simply thought he must have been another one of those hero types that don't talk. Like...Mario doesn't, in SMRPG, for instance at least, I'm pretty sure he doesn't. Been awhile since I played. >>; XD;

30. Wasn't that anime beautiful? I really, really enjoyed it. It made me pick up my flute again, even though I had touched it since leaving high school. And that was over four years ago. The idea of playing beautiful music from the heart, even when you're a poor player, gave me the courage to pick that instrument up again. So I'm glad it did something for you, too. Good luck with violin lessons if you take them!

Well, they are hard to write(especially Mytho), and I can see why that might be why there's so little fic of them. I was just saying it would be nice if there was more.

I'm actually working on something, and I hope to be finishing it soon. And I agree with you, this fandom is woefully small. :(

2 - Dude, I really really want to watch the musical now just because of that picture. And just because you talked about it I'll keep my mind open about the performers instead of getting sucked in.

5 - I love both couples, but actually I think I prefer Mytho/Rue. I 'aww'ed so much for them at the end of the series. I thought that Fakir and Ahiru were still not at that point yet at the end... I saw them more as friends. I think they have potential (which has been covered in several great fanfics) but I don't think they were there yet.

8 - I prefer the anime as well. I don't necessarily hate the manga, it just doesn't have the sparkle and pure awesomeness that the anime did for me.

8. Hmmm... wow... that's quite a vehement statement. I wouldn't put it as bluntly (I mean, I respect the manga roots and all)... but I am inclined to agree that the anime is better. But to each their own.

There used to be a fandom for Jonny Quest - we had a mailing list called the Questors, and now that I think about it, it must have been a small fandom because we all knew each other.

It was my first fandom and it was the most fun I've ever had.

28 - That's how I've always felt about Crono too! I just thought it was so cool to have a mute protagonist, and something about Crono made it seem more like it was an actual disability than a stylistic choice. I think just by how Crono would shake his head or nod or do his !!! pose and whatever. He really didn't seem to need words. Reading any fic where he talks is just...unbelievably jarring.

You will not believe how heartbroken I was to see the "official gag manga" wherein Crono had dialog. I nearly started crying, and then I decided to ignore it forever.

As to perceiving him as a mute: I really think it had to do with how over-the-top his expressions were compared to everyone else's. I mean, his shocked expression is SUPER EMOTIVE. Everyone else kinda just bugs their eyes out a bit, and the girls cover their mouths, but Crono just freaks out. Frog's is similar, but, you know, he's a frog.

I think if an author can't manage to write Crono without giving him dialog, then they're not worth reading.

8) I personally watched the anime first and then read the manga. Several watchings and readings later, I find that I much prefer the manga, but only for a few reasons:
- Dante was a worthless villain. Father is also pretty worthless, but at least he has the potential to not suck?
- Better character development (or at least more in-depth) in the manga, especially for anyone not named Ed or Al.
- But most importantly...you have no idea how much I rofl'd when I learned that the other side of the Gate in the anime was our world. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Way to dial up the camp, Bones. And CoS, too. Nazis? Nukes? Ed got caught up in the Munich Beer Hall Putsch? JORU*(#F*(EJ#(* You've got to be fucking kidding me. Even for a series about genius teenage alchemists, I couldn't get my mind to wrap around that. I thought the entire premise was fucking stupid, and I still do.

But hey, that's my own opinion, and you've got yours. Rock on.

(P.S. The FMA anime and FMA manga stories are so incredibly different that I almost find them incapable of being compared. The fandom-wide wankery is rather stupid, I agree. Live and let live.)

29) I hate Misa not because of shallow character development. No, her character was one of the best-developed in the story. And I don't hate her because she's a girl. I hate her because I find the worst traits of humanity in her.

- Sociopath? Check.
- Absolutely blind to everything except a very disturbing, unquestioned loyalty to Light? Check.
- Either blindness or implicit acceptance to being used for her skills (i.e. Shinigami eyes because Light was too fucking chicken to sacrifice half his own lifespan), as well as (likely) physically (come on, Light's got to have fucked her at least once in the 3 years they've lived together)? Check.
- Believes in the righteousness of retributive justice? Check.
- Believes in a draconian interpretation of an eye for an eye? Check.
- Believes that it's better to punish the innocent than let a few guilty people walk free? Check.

Seriously. She's fucking creepy. Yes, even creepier than pre-Near Light.

Really? I haven't played the game in a while, but I can't think of one personality trait Luxord has that the game gave him, instead of a personality trait the fandom gave him.

Luxord has a British accent and is a gambler. Game-wise, that's really about it. :|

7. Yeah, I've never watched or played any RP, but I do understand the Organization 13 love. I mean, for me anyway. The big thing is that I sympathize with them. In my mind, they're not evil. Just desperate. And they're working to save all the Nobodies. That's not an evil mission in my eyes. In KH2, there's not a straight black-and-white fight between good-and-evil. I mean, damn, Riku is on the "good" side and he spent the entire game being all dark and stuff.

I don't understand the fascination with the O13 members that we barely meet (and the Demyx/Zexion pairing boggles my fucking mind), but for Roxas, Axel, Larxene, Demyx, and the rest that do get a decent amount of screentime? Hell yes.

ETA: And someone mentioned the coats? Erm, am I a freak who likes imagining them out of those fucking things? I hate the coats so much. The moment I saw them, I though Xemnas was a prick for putting all of his people in them. It's like he hates them and wants them as uncomfortable as humanly possible. :black O13 coat hate:

No, I definitely find them sympathetic, but... uh, in order to save the Nobodies they're destroying people, possibly entire worlds, and taking hearts (and making MORE Nobodies in the process). And with Xemnas going on about HEARTS ARE POWER, I kind of have to doubt whether his mission is really all that altruistic...

I mean, they're tragic. Being a Nobody is not fun times and candy. But what they're doing about it is pretty much evil. XD;
