That's around the time I started reading it as well. It's not really that messed up, though, because that's around the age a lot of girls begin puberty. Actually having sex at that age seems very skeevy to me, but becoming aware of your own sexuality is pretty normal.

I love Hinata, really (so I have a few issues with her low self-esteem, I know there's a reason for it, but having dealt with a girl with a similar personality I get a little annoyed with Hinata's shyness)... But her fans piss me off sometimes. Yeah, she has bigger boobs than Sakura, but fucking christ, that's no reason to bash the pinkett.

43. I had the exact same thought during the future arc when i saw the roles Haru and Kyoko were reduced to, but then again, is there anything wrong with those roles? No there isn't, because someone has to fill the supportive role, and they aren't particularly strong, so what else can they do? Some of the female characters do fight, and they were helping in that way, but haru and kyoko don't, and they chose to help in what way they could. I have to emphasize this yet again that we need to start valuing the importance of traditional female roles instead of denoucning them, because only then will we start to see less misogyny and more equality. There is nothing wrong with a woman who fulfills the supportive role, and there is nothing wrong with a woman who performs an active role. And one cannot forget that Japan is more traditional then the west when looking at anime too...

1. It sort of IS the same thing, but...I don't think that's really a bad thing. Really, is there anything wrong with pretending? I think imagination is a wonderful thing, as long as you don't get...so caught up in fantasy that you can't see reality. You don't sound like you'd be like that.
(And, for the record? I keep wanting to app one of them, too XDD)

3. I have the same fear sometimes. A lot of the time. Funny thing, though, the final part is a bit of a reverse for me--KH made me like Final Fantasy. I've never really stopped loving Disney. XD *Disney nerd*

5. I'VE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING!! It drives me NUTS because I REALLY adore Fakir and Ahiru, but it seems like Rue and Mytho have become the unwanted step-children of the fandom. WHY? They're just as complicated and deep as Fakir and Ahiru, and their relationship isn't as 'perfect' and 'fairytale' as you might think at first, so it's not like it's not interesting enough to explore through fanfiction (I mean, good gosh, Rue has plenty of issues that would make their relationship complicated, and Mytho is in love with a girl that LITERALLY RIPPED HIS HEART OUT!!)...is it just that people are so unsatisfied with the ending for Fakir and Ahiru that they're compelled to write about them and forget about Rue and Mytho? Or what?

8. ...Personally, I like them both just about equally. Just sayin'. I think I like the anime slightly more just because I love angst and it's a little less typical shounen, but...I think it's really hard to say that "the characters are boring" when they're the SAME characters. Yeah, the second half of the anime isn't anything like the manga, but...the first half the anime is pretty close to the manga. You don't sound like you find the first half of the anime to be incredibly boring, so...I think you just like the anime better and have gotten so bitter about people liking the manga more that you'd rather think it sucks. ^^;

16. I'm so glad to see this secret. XD;; I'm scared off from KH and FMA fandom a lot because of all the yaoi fangirls. Actually, I think the yaoi fangirls in those fandoms have made me hate yaoi more than I normally would.

On 5, speaking for myself, it's largely just that I can't get a grasp on Rue and Mytho's voices. Fakir and Ahiru, I feel somewhat comfortable writing. Rue and Mytho... I do love them dearly, but I can't write them. But it is, in part, also what you said... Fakir/Ahiru had a very unsatisfying ending, while I was really quite satisfied with the ending of Rue/Mytho.

Out of curiosity, have you read this fic? It's a great look at Rue and Mytho after the series. ♥

I don't get this secret at all. You say that if Misa was a boy, she wouldn't be bashed, yet you bring in a example of a boy who is bashed for the very same reasons Misa is.
...Doesn't it prove that the gender doesn't change it at all?
Though of course, maybe I didn't understand what you meant to begin with ò_o

(Personally I don't dislike Misa... and I don't like her either. I cannot agree with you as I don't think she was well developed, quite the contrary in my opinion, which is exactly why I feel indifferent towards her)

19. Newsflash: some mods are students, too. And some of those mods who are students not only go to school, but hold down full time jobs and raise children, too. They clearly are much better at time management than you are.

You know when your exams are when you sign up, which is usually THREE MONTHS before your exams and papers are due. If you can't make the time to write, don't sign up. We mods would be much happier if you had the foresight and time management skills, trust me. University may be the bridge between dependence on your parents and adulthood, but we're not your parents, so please try to act like an adult. Even if this is just a hobby.

8. I haven't read much of the manga, but I didn't like what I read. As far as certain characters and character dynamics and relationships go, I think the anime was much more interesting. So I get kinda pissed off at the "OMG BLASPHEMY!!" attitude at preferring the anime to the manga. Sorry, but fucking deal with it.

8: Haha, that's a first! I love the manga and the first 26 episodes of the anime. I really dislike the ED/Winry pairing, though; I agree with an earlier secret poster that it unecessarily changes a very interesting relationship that you don't see very often. I just want it to stay gen...

16: Likewise, just because I like a yaoi ship I'd like to not be called a stupid fangirl, thanks much. I'm tired of being labeled a slobbering maniac who'll jump on any pairing just because it's yaoi. Do you know why there are so many yaoi ships in fandom? It's because there are a lot of people in fandom, and a many of them ship different things.

Also, isn't Roy/Riza one of the biggest ships in FMA? And I know that it seems to be a lot easier to find Sora/Kairi than Sora/Riku these days (or anything with Sora; the majority of the fandom have apparently decided that anyone without an "X" in their name is clearly not worth their time).

9- He's a BAD GUY. I could tell from the first episode he was in he wasn't fluffy. I mean yes, as Tobi, he was a more light hearted bad guy, but you don't hang out with the Akatsuki if you're a big bag of cupcakes and joy.

29- If you think people would pull her apart because she's a girl, but that guy character is just like her and gets pulled apart for the exact same reason, wouldn't that mean that she WOULD get pulled apart if she was a guy? I mean aren't you proving yourself wrong?

3. The College Program was amazing. For me, it was actually life-changing. I'm a life-long Disney fan, and it was a dream come true. I will say this, though: be prepared to work your ass off, and be prepared for a lot of crap and drama. I have seen more people disappointed by the program because they weren't prepared for that. Go out, be a good cast member, and make the magic for guests to the best of your ability. And have fun with it. If you're having fun, the guests are having fun, and that's what makes a good CM. Make the most of your program - work hard, and balance it out by playing hard. You get free admission, so don't waste it! ;)
