For my part, I always wanted to see the Continuing Adventures of Kieth and Joachim...

but seriously, is there anything this fandom worth reccing? Considering I haven't found much of... anything in it... well yeah.

(and personally: while I do like the Yuri/Alice canon pair, I don't really see what fanfic of it is possible. It's way too resolved. There's a lot more possibility left with Yuri/Karin, if one wants to avoid crack or slash... but aside from that... mm, possibilities.)

I would've LOVED to see the Continuing Adventures of Keith and Joachim. Those two are definitely my favourite siblings in any fandom ever. ♥

As far as fic goes, I'm rather partial to Brothers (http://lebensbaum.livejournal.com/4867.html) -- Joachim and Yuri with mentions of Keith, mostly gen, on the care and feeding of vampires.

Other than that, I haven't really found much, either. I admit to a shameless interest in Yuri/Nicolai, but it's so hard to find, and while I'd love some good genfic just as much it seems like nearly everything out there is all hetshippy, with a bit of crack and slash on the fringes.

That doesn't mean I relate every incest fic I stumble over to my own situation, so don't do it to yours. It's fanfiction. 40: thanks for that perspective there. i went through a short period of geeking out over the ouran twins before I snapped out of it and realized that some relationships go deeper than sex. 'specially sibling ones. plus, when you get down to brass tacks, it's squicky.

I personally ship Alan Davies/Stephen Fry, as a loyal QI fan. They are fucking hilarious.

I dunno who the left guy is, but Jimmy Carr is one of my favorite panelists on QI.

I also feel ashamed that I only know Jimmy Carr and other hilarious British comedians from only QI.

That's Dara O Briain he's been on QI quite a few times, but he's the quizmaster of a comedy satire panel show: Mock the Week, and Jimmy is the quizmaster of a comedy statistics panel show: 8 Out of 10 Cats and obviously Stephen is the Qimaster for QI, I think that's what the secret maker was trying to get at, that they have that in common.

If you ever want to check out another fun British comedy panel series, I reccommend 8 Out of 10 Cats, it's fab!

Seconding this TO THE FUCKING MAX. :/ Seriously, I really don't give a shit how "HARD" it is to condense an idea into something the length of three paragraphs. Like you said, it doesn't have to be 2387659274593 words long. However, 90% of the time, short drabbles aren't worth anyone's time at all.

That said, I HAVE read good drabbles. I've read some of those 100 one-sentence memes that were pretty epic. But they're veeeeeery few and far between. (Then again, the fandoms actually pay attention to have crap writing in general, so my view is probably scewed.)

28. I can only agree when you refer to bad drabbles. I can't read most long fic. The more original plot you have, the more original characters or original situations you need. If there's no original content it's boring, but 80% of original content tends to be self-important wangst.
