Drabbles are my FAVORITE. It takes a lot of talent to get the characterization and wording down in that short of a space, and I respect the hell out of people who can do it well.

Besides, drabbles are incredibly entertaining. They give you what you want in small, glorious amounts.

In short? Shut the fuck up.

I'm sorry that you lack the ability to see outside of the box when it comes to writing.

3- Funny, I was under the impression that a lot of the intelligent ones were doing the snarking, because they're the people who are capable of understanding that it's just a hobby and not RLLY SRS BSNSS, and making fun of their chosen canon isn't going to cause the civilized world to crumble down into dust around our feet.

Then again, I fail to see how my poking a bit of good-natured fun at a show every once in a while automatically means that I think I'm better than you. I don't. I just like having a laugh at (insert character's name here)'s expense. Unless you're talking about people who snark at you and your ilk personally. In that case, I don't see why their opinions should even matter to you in the first place.

28- But drabbles can be something substantial. In fact, I (a longfic is looooooong author) have a lot of respect for people who can cram some kind of deep meaning or theme for me to chew on in a page's worth of writing. It takes a lot of skill to be able to convey something deep and profound in such a small amount of space.

But yeah, the ones who just fill up a page with stupid random crap because a page is all they can fill up can go take a hike.

Seriously! I just got into Criminal Minds last month, and I just started watching Fandom Secrets on Sunday, and this is the third Reid secret in the four days I've been here. And they're all about essentially the same episode!

28. At least we finish things we commit to. :) I mean seriously, think of how many "in progress" fics there are, and how many are actually finished. Most end after one chapter. -.- I mostly don't even bother with most longer fics anymore because even if I do like them, they'll likely never be finished. Not to mention length is not what makes goodfic.

40. I have a friend who is a twin and has a younger brother and sister that are twins, and she loves twincest. <3 (Though not with her own sister, she's realized that fiction =/= her.)

40. Dear people bashing this secret:

People are ALLOWED to be squicked. Not everyone can just not be grossed out by everything.

Imagine in your favorite fandom, some people occasionally talked about and posted pictures of big ugly spiders. Big ugly spiders gross you the heck out. But, people in that fandom tend to enjoy those big ugly spiders. You can't really avoid it, and you can't tell people not to post what they like. But who's to say you're not allowed to find it gross and wish it would stop?

33. Aww, I can imagine. That scene always gets me choked up too. Gundam 0080 is just a really heartwrenching story in general and packs a lot of punch for its short length. A shame more people don't seem to know about it and/or just pass it up because it isn't the pretty-boy/new-and-shiny Gundam that the fanbrats are usually all over like Wing, SEED/Destiny, or 00.

See, I'm enjoying 00 and SEED/Wing were good for what they were... but yessss. 0080 is my favorite story in the entire franchise and nobody outside of like hardcore Gundam fans seems to know it.

I wouldnt go as far as the killing, but as a twin myself, seeing twincest just feels...bothersome to me XD; I feel like anyone who isn't a twin just doesn't understand a twin's special relationship, it's a relationship not even normal siblings have. So seeing that relationship being interpretted that way is just kinda...gahhh. I feel like it's ruining that special relationship that us twins have and turning it into something sexual. I also have a tendancy to compare most twins to me and my sister automatically. so..yea. I guess I don't mind that some people ship it...but I'm not going to lie when I say it bothers me. and I think I have good reason for that too. Also twins that ship twincest confuse me XD; but I guess its the whole reality =/= fandom thing. oh well.

36. ...ha ha, even as a ZADR fan I sympathize a bit, because I'm getting more into DATR and it's aggravating that there's so little engaging material for that pairing (although there's probably more for DATR than for ZATR...).

Man, IZ fandom is so fucking retarded sometimes, it's an insane COMEDY SHOW and fans get super-wound-up over pairings that don't matter that much. I'd write you some ZATR just to spite everyone. XD KEEP THE FAITH LOL.
