47)I didn't love the epilogue, but I didn't get all the bashing. I thought it tied up the series quite nicely.

And with all the Phoenix Wright secrets here, I feel it is forcing me to go out and get the game. I think/know I'm missing something really fun :(

6. Yup, I'm another one of those people that got in it for reasons other than the shota. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the art and kind of like don't mind shota, but I liked it for the sacrifice/fighter system thing first. Then there's the master/sub dynamics (oooh, Soubi XD).

People like what they like~ I got into the series because I thought the artwork was beautiful and I am a sucker for good art. Then the story got me hooked.

I had got into a bad argument with a friend over the series. And it's just hard and frustrating because they haven't looked into it and won't listen to me. I'm not saying they have to read it. . .just, seems a bit much to argue with someone while basing your points off of misconceptions.

19. I don't hate Kairi, I just find her dull. I don't think she lacks a personality like a lot of people claim, I just don't find her personality particularly interesting. I liked her a lot more in KH2, but I hated how they made her one of those Princess of the Heart dealies and then gave her a Keyblade! Wasn't the whole point of the Keyblade supposed to be that it was SPECIAL and COOL and ONLY SORA got one? And then they started handing them out like party favors in the second game and it was not special or shiny anymore!

19. Kairi grew on me, but I'll admit - she's not amongst my favorites. I don't see how you'd be treated as a "lesser fan" considering a good portion of the fandom dislikes her. At least, that's the impression I get.

19. ...From the majority of the response being surprise that you're considering Kairi a popular character, maybe it's just the particular corner of fandom you're hanging out? I'm really kind of curious where you might frequent, because yeah, I'm also kind of confused that you would be shunned/looked down upon for not liking her; personally, I'm not particularly either way. I see that she has potential to be a cool character, but from the canon we've seen, uh... no. (And if anything, I'd frankly just ask the Kairi-supporters to provide several good reasons as to why they find her interesting.)

Ahahahaha, this secret made me so happy. ♥~ I don't make it a secret at all that I love Axel/Roxas, but just the fact that you're so passionate and obsessive about it makes me feel less alone. :D There's usually a ship I'm completely nuts about in every fandom I skip through, and that can get a little awkward sometimes, because I always end up worrying, "Am I taking it too far?"

36. I love Sora/Roxas in every single form, canon or AU, and yes, I definitely agree with you and the other few hundred people who've already said they're with you on this. Their personalities work so, so well together, and I'm always baffled at the people who cry, "Ew! Masturbation! Incest!" because uhh hahahaha, it's not all about sex, ignore the circumstances of their existences for a second and check out their mindblowing dynamics. And even if it was all about sex? The simple fact that it's unconventional and messed-up makes it about 10,000+x hotter.

45. Completely second this. Sora is my fucking inspiration, flaws and everything included. <3. But wait, did I miss the memo about Sora's story finishing? I might be horribly deluded or something, but I thought it was a confirmed fact that there would be a KHIII and (most likely) sequels with Sora and co. I'm not so bothered about the "original plot" ending; I'm actually pretty damn excited to see what they're going to come up with and how our kids (oh my god they're YOUNG ADULTS almost) are going to figure it out this time.

25. I sort of liked her, actually. But then again I liked Selphie and found Quistis to be an attention-seeking brat. So... XD

31. I like subtext too. Because I do like canon, if a pairing really becomes canon, that kill the other pairing possibilities for me. They're no longer interesting. But in some cases, the canon relationship is so good that I don't mind. It's like how a big part of me wants to slash FFIX because of certain characters *coughblankcough*, but Zidane and Garnet are so fluffily wonderful that I can't. Even though without the relationship, I'd not care for Garnet at all. So... yeah. TL;DR, I half-agree?

I couldn't agree with you more. I can hardly think of anything to say, just that for me, actually:
Anime = mostly fanservice, because it ended before getting to the plot-twist.
Ritsuka = more of a grown up then most of the older characters, especially Soubi, Nisei and Nagisa. I mean, Ritsuka is so mature; he thinks like a grown up. And Soubi acts in childish ways sometimes.
For me, it's not about the BL or shota or whatever, it about the fucked-up characters and the plot.

6: I completely agree! I started reading the manga mostly because I was just starting to get in to yaoi and everyone recommended it as one of the best out there (which it is), but after the first volume I was completely engrossed in the story and dynamics between the characters, and barely noticed it was shota at all. I was reminded one time at the manga club meeting, though; I'm in middle school, and at my school's manga club, we introduce other series to the whole club by showing the covers, giving a quick description, and saying who you'd recommend it to, etc. I tried doing Loveless. There are 11 year olds boys in this club. Chaos ensues (though most of the girls- almost all of the 7th and 8th grade girls had already read it- had a blast and I desperately tried to find a fight to show that wasn't... "suggestive".)

While I'm a hardcore Akuroku fan, I've also kind of been an in the closet Roxas/Sora fan. I don't know why I like it, because, yeah, it really makes no sense at all, and when you have all the hard(er)core Akuroku fans screaming "OMG IT'S MASTERBATION!" "THAT'S SO WRONG, ROXAS TOTALLY LOVES AXEL ALL THE WAY I'LL KILL YOU!" and..other things, you kind of wonder what the fuck you were thinking, there's still that little thought it my mind that yeah, Roxas and Sora could be good together.

I mean, if you want to go down the whole 'soul mates' road, um, duh. Roxas is Sora's other (and the reverse), so it only really seems logical that each of them holds a piece of their others' soul/heart/life ect.

In my opinion, they're almost nothing alike. I mean, yeah, they share some qualities with eachother (both are brave, determined, and would do just about anything with their friends, both have blue eyes...and yeah, that's it. That totally doesn't make them the same person.)

I have so much more to say on this pairing, but none of it makes enough sense in my head to actually put into words and sentences that a normal human could understand XD. But yeah.

I know I'm here very late but I liked the Deathly Hallows epilogue even though I wasn't into the ships. It was cute and it did fit with the rest if you ask me.

And I loved the Silent Hill movie. I saw the movie first, so that helped, but even when I played the game I didn't start hating the movie and I still write fic for it. And I never would have played the games if I hadn't seen the movie first, because I knew about them and thought I hated horror.

And Madarame is hot. I think it's the fangs.

To everyone who says that it reads like bad fanfic well yes the Albus Severus and the Scorpius names were not too hot but to everything else, hey they began as children's books and they ended as them with the epilogue. Also, just because people could predict certain endings, write them in fanfic or whatever doesn't mean they are bad writing choices. Somethings in life are just predictable, that is ok. I think we Harry Potter fans are far too critical of the books sometimes. They are supposed to be the things we love not tear down.

I hated most if not ALL Harry Potter related RP and fic and because I felt Rowling had thoroughly destroyed everything that made the first four books GOOD.

And, ironically enough, I can't stand that characterization. It makes me want to break things because it's so far off the mark. I ship them, yes - but most of the time I actually prefer the friendship dynamic because it's so much more complicated and interesting. The crazy shippers who turn them into crying weepy pretty boys irritate me to no end.

It's a secret for me because I'm not much of a shipper at all. I never RP pairings, I never write them, and I generally just don't care for them. My friends really would think I had gone out of my mind if they knew.
