I could have written this secret, except with me it's obviously not a secret. I have been into slash for eight years, and I have fallen in love with a lot of pairings from a lot of fandoms, but Axel and Roxas have grabbed hold of me in a way that no other pairing has come close to doing and it won't let go. I love them so much it hurts in a very real, very active way.

I'm terrified of 358/2 because I'm afraid of what it might do to them.

Have you played PW3 yet? If not... well, Franzy has definitely matured.

But really, the game does single out a connection between the two of them; Franziska ends up reaching out to Adrian in a way she doesn't do towards ANYBODY else--now, of course this isn't necessarily romantic. It could certainly be purely platonic/borne out of Franziska's guilt over how she treated Adrian in 2-4/sisterly/whatever... I choose to see it as having romantic potential, but that's just me XD;

Mainly, I like Fran/Adrian because it's a relationship that stems from their weaknesses (Adrian's codependency, Franziska's sort of desire to be needed)... and you're right, it's a relationship that could go very wrong, there IS that danger. But it could also go very, very right--the two of them balance each other out. Franziska gives Adrian the strength she needs to be emotionally stable, Adrian gives Franziska genuine affection and above all is patient (and relatively mature), which is something that an emotionally-stunted someone like Franziska needs. And eventually, they balance each other out.

Hopefully that explained it a bit more? XD; I mean, if you want me to Wall of Text, I can... tried to keep it fairly short there >_>

19. I never understood that, either. To me, Kairi is barely a character because she gets so little screen time and the games treat her more like a plot device/mandatory female character/mandatory love interest than an actual character. Plus what we do see of her makes her look like a total sue.

36. Roxas x Sora is one of the few KH pairings that I seriously ship hardcore. I still wonder why how people use the "it's the same person" argument against it, yet they acknowledge Roxas and Sora as different people when it comes to other pairings. (In the "Sora x Roxas is the same person! But Axel x Roxas and Axel x Sora are two completely different pairings!" sense.)

26 - I don't bother to embroil myself in that particular fandom either, though I do enjoy the show. I admit I would go "awww" if Ishida ever admitted he's got a thing for Orihime. She's got it pretty bad for Ichigo though I think. And who knows if he'll ever make up his mind.

25. Actually that's a good point. Didn't she also trick and blackmail the team...? (it's been a while since I played). And no one really put their foot down about her stupid behaviour. It was even worse when Squall just went along with all the stupidity. I think my mind couldn't compute asexual Squall suddenly being all lovey-lovey with her, so I must've taken it out on Rinoa because she was constantly hanging all over him...

31. Totally agree. Especially when those pairings just feel like fanservice or are tacked on at the end, somehow (minus logic of course). I don't care if they pile on the subtext, as long as its not made clearly official.

8. I liked Hiroshi and K and that was about it :\ I found that it moved way too quickly for my taste, really, and Shuuichi got on my nerves like BURNING. Ryuuichi was kinda cute, though.

10. Yes -- I love how open the anime left the ending. Sure, Haruhi chased after Tamaki, but in a way, that seemed to me to be less romantic and more "jkasgak don't ruin your life, you idiot!" And the little ending twist with Kyouya won my heart over so hard 8) Dammit, now I want to go watch the whole thing all over again! XD

I agree. The movie needed to be similar to the video games but go off on its own tangent. Sure they may have tweeked a few things to their liking, but no one can name one video-game-turned-movie where they followed the game exactly.

21. The fact that Momo ended up with Kairi is what made me love this series. If she had chosen Toji I would have totally dismissed it.

26. I am obsessed with Bleach and even write fic for it, but I don't join communities and interact with other fans because I despise the Hitsugaya/Hinamori pairing so much. I am not afraid they will be mean to me, however. I am afraid I won't be able to help being mean to them. It's better if I stick to my corner of fandom.

19. This is so weird! Usually by now we'd be swamped with people shouting "OMG I <3 KAIRI SHE'S GREAT BLA BLAH"

I hate her. Yet... I love how pretty she is? I'm weird,I just like pretty things and I think she's really pretty and I want her hairstyle :P

Her as a character? PERSONALITY PLZ KTHX. I am so sick of this 'pure' b.s. it's sickening really. people think "awww lightness and cheerful disposition" my reaction? "kill it with fire."

I think the fact that Sora outshines her with his bright personality, Riku's got a strong (sad) personality, Roxas had a tragic personality, even Olette a randomly appearing character had a motherly personality. It's like, they don't even try to hide the fact that Kairi's only there to move the plot along.

And I swear if anyone tries to even come at me with the "OMG SHE CARES FOR HER FRIENDS AND FOUGHT TO PROTECT THEM" crap I will destroy you. kthx.

27. There really isn't enough love for G Gundam. Sure, I have other Gundam series I like more (sorry?), but I enjoyed G as well, just because it was so different and super-robot-ish. You'd be surprised at how many fans of it there still are, especially over in the Power Rangers fandom. The super-robot/sentai themes of G are really popular with them.

I tried so hard to give Nia the benefit of the doubt, as I'm not the type to hate on a character just because it's in, and usually there's something moderately redeeming about them. I don't exactly agree with the sentiment (since I LOVED Rose in series 1 and 2, their romance was a one off in its drama, intensity and devotion and it was really touched viewers and revived Doctor Who for a new generation) but after series 3 and now seeing the Voyage of the Damned this evening I am getting a little bristly myself about The Doctor and romance. I mean ffs, give it a rest! I wish there could be a companion who didn't want to get into his pants. Geez... and the preview for series 4 didn't look good for The Doctor and Donna. Heck! even she wants a piece of him. GIVE IT A REST RUSSEL T DAVIES! (I'm a little drunk... god I love Baileys. Anyway!)

48. Kira is my favourite anime character of all time. BAR NONE. He is teh win, not a hard ass soldier or a whiney bitch he's just a normal boy who we see turn into a man and its emotional and heartbreaking and real. Kira is pure win. God I hate people who slate him like they could have the balls to do half of what he did.

34 OP here. Rose was ok at first, but she progressively got more annoying as the show went on. I started to hate Martha 'cause of the lame crush thing, which also made me dislike Ten for leading her on, etc.

ITA about the romance thing on the show, though. Actually, it seems to be less about the Doctor and more about DT and how EVERYONE is supposed to be in love with him. Some of us don't fancy him, you know!

45. I adore Sora too! Whenever I feel like being kickass, I break out my KH and give Vengeance!Sora a spin around the worlds. Some of his actions in KH2 I was mildly :/ about, but he's a good kid, and (weird as this seems) over the game spans I grew fond of him as a kind of fictional 'son'.

Sora is a good kid. :)

Also, I cried hardxcore through the ending and credits of both games.

I loved it when they got together at the end! I was rooting for it, too. But there was the bit when Paprika was pinned to the table and she said that Osenai sold his body to Himuro for the DC mini. If you look, you can see homosexual porn mags on Himuro's shelf when they're investigating his apartment.

So I admit, some of it is theory, but that is pretty cemented, I think.
