6. I think you'll find that in most FF fandoms, really. If not most fandoms altogther. (I did find Tidus a little annoying, but it had nothing to do with his pants. He and Yuna were acceptably cute. ...And Blitzball ate my life. D:) In conclusion: LUZZU!

I've noticed that people's complaints usually lie along something like, "I don't like it because the gameplay is boring."

Or they think it jumped the shark in the middle, and that the final boss should have been Orochi the first time.

But very few people are going to diss two things in that game.

1. The art
2. The music

For the record, I think its amazing. And I would kinda look down on someone who didn't at least agree that it has a lot of awesome potential.

17. I wonder how many people are even going to touch this one... For my part, I like the Spanish motif running throughout Bleach. It made the anime/manga more interesting to me in a way than I ordinarily would have found it. And I don't find anything that Kubo Tite has been doing offensive. I mean, it's not as though western media hasn't done similar things in the past or present, so what is it about Bleach that's so offensive? I just don't see it.

On a lighter note, I wish I had that plushie in the image...

I liked the Spanish motif too. It was not Kubo's usage that bugged me, but the fandom reaction that generated, or at least the reaction that others close to me had.

I understand mangakas have a habit of talking words from other languages and putting them into their works in hopes of making their manga sound more sophisticated, or cooler, whatever. French and English, even German, are two languages that I see repeatedly in Animes and Manga.

What pisses me off about this phenomenon is that, all of the sudden, because Kubo uses Spanish it makes it cool. I said 'It's nothing but a fad to them' because them are specific people who have hurt my feeling. These people who now beg me to translate the Spanish words from Bleach were the same people who called me a 'spic', laughed at my accent and asked me if I had swam the Rio Grande. Yet now, suddenly, I am worthy of being their friend because 'OMGKAWAIIDESUDESUDESUYOUSPEAKSPANISHLIKEKUBOCHAN~~!!!^^!'

Yes, I am 'butthurt', as another commenter put it, because of it. But you know what? I think I have valid reasons.

I really did enjoy Bleach. It wasn't until Chad started getting less show time and this happened that I started dreading it. The fact that the fandom went batshit insane (I'm looking at you ileenka!) made me leave it for good.

2. D: D: D: O how I feel the same way. My current prediction for Berserk is that Casca goes back to Griffith, and then Griffith and Guts wind up killing each other.

But then I was utterly convinced that Nina was going to suffer a horrible, grisly fate so HOPEFULLY I'M WRONG and Miura's heart has grown three sizes or something.

5&6, 48: Trufax - I just ordered myself X and X-2. When I first played X I just found it "pleasantly mediocre" but I've been hankering to play it again and give it another shot. And he's a dork but dammit, I do like Tidus.

I think the general problem with the Final Fantasy fandom is that not everybody's favorite in the franchise is The Most Popular Ever VII and we're butthurt to some degree that "our" game hasn't gotten merchandising/sequels/shiny movies/good fanfic.

That being said, goddammit I want a decent play arts figure for Zidane :|
