Everyone has a terrible though that just sort of hits you and even makes you go "Wow. I can't beleive I thought that."

"maybe my life would be better if X were dead".

X could be various people close to me, like my parents, boyfriend, but also just people at work (or school when I was still in it).

As for other things: looking at m wrist and thinking of how *easy* it would be to slash the veins.

+1 to the first, thankfully no to the second. :-( Hope that's not the case for you right now.

Eh, I get it now and then still, but far less than I used to. And it's different now, like a memory of a memory that still replays sometimes.

I've looked into it and it's apparently not easy at all

Whishing dogs would die to make their crappy owners learn a lesson.

Like, have a dog run into traffic and get hit by car because no, owner, your dog does not obey you and listen to your commands, you need to put a leash on it. You're not letting the dog run ahead and behind you as it pleases because it's so well-trained; there's no letting, the dog does what it wants and you have absolutely no control over it and you just don't want to admit it. So put a leash on it already (and train it properly!) so that a) nothing happens to it and b) it doesn't bother other people and animals.

I've imagined finding out various people I know but am not particularly fond of have died so I could rehearse being properly shocked and saddened in my head.

A friend of mine got pregnant recently. They do NOT need another kid. The guy's wife is a lazy, lazy, lazy person. She can't drive, never even graduated high school, and doesn't work. This wouldn't be too terrible except she can't cook, doesn't clean, and is a terrible mother.

They announced they were pregnant with their 3rd child and everyone I knew was like WTF. And then she lost it a couple days after announcing it.

And my first thought was, "Thank god, they don't need another kid."

I think that's a reasonable thought actually.

Sometimes, I have incredibly racist thoughts. I immediately hate myself for them, and I've never acted on them in any way, but occasionally they just pop into my head and I desperately wish they didn't.

I do too. It's how I was raised. :(

It sounds like you are experiencing the phenomenon called "intrusive thoughts" where disgusting, horrible thoughts pop into a person's head unwillingly. It's actually not uncommon, and is not conflated with reality in any way so don't hate yourself too much for them.

I have a spectrum of bigoted thoughts. Even about my own sucks-to-be identities, wtf. But in a way it's kind of good because I find those thoughts tend to accord with the way *isms/*phobias play out by others in society, which makes it easier to spot/fight/stfu those patterns in myself and others.

Every now and then I have these really unpleasant, graphic thoughts about stepping on my cats, or them winding up dead by something I've done, and it always really, really freaks me out.

I had a boss who bullied me, and I used to think of these horrible revenge scenarios where I'd spread a rumor about her that would be so humiliating she'd quit.

The thing is, the revenge fantasies never made me feel better, they just made me feel awful. No one deserves that, and anyway I didn't hate her, I just wished she wasn't such a bitch.

For some reason, when 9/11 happened and I saw it on TV, the first thing I thought was "Death Eaters."

Harry Potter had nothing to do with it, and I still kick myself for that association, even though I think it was just my brain's way of helping me filter through everything.

Sometimes I wish my (very old) cat would die already so that I can get a new one.

I love her so much, she's a dear friend to me and it sickens me that I think that.

My uncle's ex-wife is probably the worst person I've ever met in my life. During their divorce, my uncle got her pregnant, and everyone in my family was whispering how we all hoped she miscarried.

Haven't seen the asshole dog up the road in awhile, hoping it died or they got rid of it.

And yeah thinking life would be easier if some ppl died. Except I don't want them dead, I just want them out of my life :/

Anything potentially infringing upon another person's freedom.

Anything involving jealousy and feeling entitled to something, more so than the other person (who attained this thing or status fair and square).

Entertaining the notion of being a homewrecker. Not to deliberately hurt those involved, but the selfishness in wanting to be with someone in such an achingly crazy stupid ridiculous way that nothing else mattered.
