Sure, sometimes I express surprise or disbelief or confusion as to why people would find something sexy, but I'm not going to think less of someone for it.

I try to never kinkshame but whenever Hydra Trash Party somehow slips into my consciousness, I immediately start judging. Which is funny, since the same kind of thing in other fandoms doesn't bother me at all.

I don't kinkshame to them, but people who write pedophilia stuff and non-con stuff where the reason is to find that stuff hot/sexy/arousing, gross me the fuck out.

And frankly, if I know someone masturbated to stories or animated drawings of child porn, I would not trust them around my nephews/nieces. I don't care how irrational it may seem.

Not at all really. There's definitely stuff I don't want to read or like but I just make sure that I don't go into the spaces that produce it or read fic with it tagged.

Fiction doesn't tend to hurt people, so whatever you want to read is your business, it doesn't affect me at all. Now, as soon as your kink is hurting actual people who aren't able to give informed consent, then I'll kinkshame your ass all day long.

I try not to, unless it's someone's being blatant and open with something that borders on a trigger for me, like child porn. Your kink is not my kink and it's not okay with me on that one.

Whenever writers try to pretend it's not kink. Or when they try to write a serious story with kink as a background, but the kink is so thoroughly entrenched in it that the themes and morals are nonsensical or offensive in any context other than pure fantasy. (It's one thing to write power imbalance fapfic; it's another to write something that portrays power imbalance as cute and romantic.)

Also, I judge people who write about Chakats, because that's just silly. I'd probably judge Sergals as well if I had any idea what the term meant.

A little bit. I have a lot of trouble when I come across people who get off on abusing women, treating them like they're subhuman or just fucktoys and such. Even though they say it's just fantasy and they don't condone it in real life, I get sick to my stomach over it. The stuff they write and the pictures they post are just so...mean, I guess?

How do you turn off the part of you that gets aroused by thinking of women like meat and fantasizing about a world where women are all in chains and do nothing but serve men? How do you go out in the world and treat women like people when you spend so much time thinking about them NOT being people?

I think some pedo stuff makes me uncomfortable because that is a specific sexual proclivity that is flat out wrong and there is no possible "soft version" that is okay in real life. With, say, extreme kink stuff there are milder forms like BDSM that are consensual and okay, so reading extreme versions in fiction is different, I think. So I'm usually of the fiction is fiction mindset, but I do kind of draw a line at young child/adult stuff because I think there are real life connections.

There are some kinks I think are gross and will talk with my friends privately about how gross I find them. I don't seek out the people with those kinks and shame them though. Idk where that falls on the kinkshaming spectrum.

Also I jokingly kink shame my friends a lot. (They do the same to me. We have fun.)

Things I will overtly object to if I see them: Pedophilia and some hebephilia.

Things I judge people for but keep my judgments to myself: Most noncon if it's mean to be hot, really prominent power imbalance when it's not treated as a bad thing, relationships that are clearly and one-sidedly abusive but depicted as romantic or hot, most instances of torture if it's meant to be hot.

With torture, I think it depends on the helplessness and vulnerability of the victim as well. If Lex tortures Superman, or Loki tortures Thor, and they both want each other and it's meant to be hot, it might not be my cup of tea but it also strikes me as a somewhat different thing, because torture doesn't have the same impact on super powerful beings who know they won't die from it and will heal very quickly and have spectacular pain endurance anyway. Plus characters with super powers know violence intimately; they expect to do violence and have violence done to them on a regular basis. So the psychology surrounding torture is often a bit different in those cases.

If they're writing sexual stuff involving children, I'll probably side-eye them a little. But so long as it and other abusive/violent activities are being kept solely in the fictional realm and they're not practicing such things in their own lives*, then...*Shrugs*. So be it, write whatever you want. Fiction =/= reality, after all.

*I know that some people do have rape fantasies they and their partners act out in their sex lives. It's not my thing, but that's for the couple in question to work out and do with it what they will.

Anything Shota or Loli. Sure, I have my age gap pairs, but shota and loli cross the line. Sorry, I need consenting ADULTS having sex, thanks. Or at least, characters that are with in the age of consent (17 is as low as i will go if i'm reading porn of my fav OTPs).

The obsession my friends had with Loveless back in teh day just made me so uncomfortable...yuck. I liked yaoi/shounen ai, but no, that one was just, no.

Anything involving gore and bodily fluids that aren't the normal secretions from actual sex (though if period sex is involved, it doesn't bother me much). So, scat, watersports, etc, those are fucking nasty.

Don't much care about the weird obsession with lactation as a kink cause ew.

I don't like BDSM in fiction cause it's just not done well. Out right rape kinks get to me as well, though I do like the occasional dubious-consent fic.

Oddly enough, the furry porn and the tentacle porn no longer gross me out. I blame Warcraft. Damn aliens and shit. Stupid Shadow Priests with their void tentacle spells. And Warlocks.
