12: OMG I hated Sam/Dean when I first started watching Supernatural. I was just like, WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE TO SHIP SOMETHING?! They are only two main characters, so I just thought that people were shipping them because there wasn't really anyone else to ship them with.

But then once you get into the show and you realize just how much they love each other, and how they can't even live two seconds without each other, it's not hard to start the shipping. :D

Chiho Saito has stated that she wrote the story with a prince waiting for her at the end. Her version was a lot more like regular shoujo, and not nearly as interesting.

56- I blame the fact that Kurama is a lot like fanon!Sesshoumaru. The strong silent effeminate type that is actually a huge softy. Writing Kurama/Kagome is like writing fanon!Sess/Kag. Not that Kurama is IC in most of those fics, but yeah.

I don't know why they don't just use Keiko as their self-insert though.

Well I guess the shows were big in the US around the same time. The only thing I can think of is Youko Kurama is somewhat like Sesshoumaru. But the other Kurama nothing at all. Of course I never really read fanfiction for Inuyasha so I don't know how fandom perceives Sesshoumaru.
