I'm pretty proud of myself for not giving my dietian a hearty "fuck you" for saying I "ate like a man." Men aren't aren't the only ones who would choose a tasty meat snack over a carrot most of the time.

I mean, I get that I eat more meat and fewer vegggies that I should, but there's mothing inherently "manly"about that.

Maybe it's the way you eat? Do you kind of shovel food into your mouth? Most dudes and even some grown men I know eat with little regard for table manners.

A real irritant for me is when people use a gendered word for a non-gendered profession, if it's a woman doing the job.

You don't see so much of it these days. I personally go out of my way to say "actor" in a gender neutral way when possible, and I glare at anyone who said "authoress" or "aviatrix."

Just...no.

When my parwnts were putting affairs together, my mom asked which of us wanted to be the executrix to their will. I dwclined just on the stupidity o the name.

It skeeves me out when self-proclaimed "lesbians" say "I'm attracted to women and trans men". I don't think you should call yourself a lesbian if you're attracted to ANY men, even if it's only one specific group of men. (And no, I'm not a TERF. I just don't like it when words are misused.)

I would take that to mean they're attracted to vaginas and the people attached. Is that not correct?

I don't know, I consider myself straight, but there have been trans women I've been attracted to. I know that's not politically correct to say, but our brains are sort of trained to perceive up subtle differences between the sexes.

I mean, I respect their gender identity, but I do know I never had that with a woman born with XX chromosomes.

I'd consider it dishonest to call myself bisexual because of that.

I feel like it's skeevy because it's ignoring the fact that trans men are and want to be seen as men, not women, even if they were originally born into a female body. That's kind of why they have dysphoria in the first place, so it just seems insulting to me to be grouping them alongside women when they themselves don't want to be seen as women.

Yeah, I'm a lesbian and I've never been attracted to a trans man. I'm not attracted to any man. Like, I usually low get the feeling they aren't respecting trans men?

(I do kinda get making an exception if you're in a committed relationship with a person before they come out as trans though.)
