26. I found Maya's story to be horribly repeatative and boring. :\ At least Adam's was progressive in the screen time he had, as opposed to like 5 straight episodes of "ALEJANDROOOOOOOOOOOO!!" "MAAAAAYAAAAAAAA!!" I hope she'll get better next season.

46. I loved both the movie and the book, but I really wish that the movie kept (or elaborated on) Sophie being a witch who could talk life into things. That made her like 5000x cooler to me, and I'm sure the movie like... sort of referred to it, but I wish it was just brought out into the open. It would have been awesome to have a scene where Sophie asked her walking stick to beat someone. T_T;

46. My main beef with the movie is that Howl is too nice. The other stuff I could handle... but Howl is a fun character because he's an self-centered, narcissistic jerk! Aside from the hair-dying scene (which was so many levels of awesome), movie!Howl was... ehhh.

What's whith all the "sex is evil and destroys" secrets? Adding a sexual relationship to an already existing deep friendship doesn't automatically make it something lesser.

Seriously, I can understand if it's not your thing, and if you are happy with the way things are, but describing sex as "cheapening"? I don't get it. It can be a wonderul way to deepen a relationship (if handled right).

"If handled right" being the operative phrase there-- it so rarely is. And the dynamics of the crew as they are in are wonderful and could be explored more in depth, but no one ever does because for some reason everything has to be about sex. I get that sex is interesting and can add depth to a relationship, but I really believe that in the case of the Strawhats, the opposite is true.

11. I feel kinda the same. I recognize the problems (political, social, cultural, lawl the works) in the country (like any country) as well as any body... but... that still doesn't mean I hate it and I sure as Hell don't 'secretly wish' I was from some of the other countries fandom-people live in.

To the point that sometimes I have to switch gears from either making jokes about the problems / actually talking about them... in order to defend The Country At Large so I don't have listen to another second of fandom people insulting it.

That's like talking smack 'bout niggas when you ain't one and I get kind of tired of it, though I ignore it most of the time.

I mean, what. I love the books way too much. Hell, even more than a re-hash of the movie for Howl's Moving Castle, I'd love to see one for Castle in the Air (that actually, you know, uh, was like the book). IT WOULD BE THE CUTEST THING EVER. Seriously, if you are a Howl's Moving Castle fan that hasn't read CitA? Get to it. Right now. It's so odd, and so storybookish. But it's really lovely!

If they did a live-action HMC, though... Man, I would be way too picky over the casting. That's the only problem I would have.

21. Ahaha, I have a friend who wrote Urahara/Ishida. They crossed paths maybe once (I think it was pre-SS arc when Ishida got his ass whooped by Renji and Urahara patched him up) in actual canon when she started writing them.

(And I think that to date Urahara and Ishida have maybe two in canon meetings and one of them has, like, actual conversation. lol Doesn't stop her from writing it and why should she when it's awesome?)

JOIN IN AND SHARE YOUR STUFF/IDEAS BECAUSE I THINK LIKE THAT TOO. A good writer could make it work and it's all fake anyway, half the fun is getting two random characters to cross paths and interact! :D

(You'd only be a stereotypical fangirl IMO if you picked the two "hottest/most popular" characters put them together and made them your OTP for life and ignored everything else.)

Lolz. I feel like you're missing the entire point of why that series was worth watching. BECAUSE it was horrible and predictable and hilarious. And because I enjoy letting out my inner child/Mary Sue to play with a horrendously overwrought love story with super resilent heroines.

This, coincedential, is also why I LOVE Sailor Moon. ♥

46 - Having just finished the book about two hours ago, I see what you mean. I think I actually like the movie more, but only because I felt the pacing of the story was ridiculously slow, until you get to maybe...the last four chapters--and then it ends abruptly. Well, that and I lol at Sophie's magical healing kisses. XD But yes, both are excellent in their own right--but it might have been nice had the movie retained a little more of the book's canon--like Sophie's magical abilities, besides her kisses. XD That would have been cooler.
