I kinda feel that if you want to see something other than a specific pairing, then maybe you should create it. You want variety, then go ahead and contribute some. I mean, i like Hughes/Ed, does anyone else...? No, not really. In fact, i get this horrified looks when i tell people i like that pairing. Meh, whatever, life goes on. But yeah, i want to see Hughes/Ed so i draw it. I believe in 'mixing it up' in a fandom anyways. Heck, i once drew Armstrong/Fuery by request. I CREATE the variety for myself and others who request it and support it.

But you know, no one really comments on anything other than the Roy/Ed i draw, and the Hei/Ed when i actually draw it. And really, if i wasn't the way i was, the lack of comments on my pairing art of the stuff other than the popular pairings would discourage me.

I've also found that the

fma_fuh_q comm is great for encouraging people to step out of the bounds of the 'norm' pairings.

Either way though, you want something done, then do it yourself. Even if it's just commenting on that one story with the 'weird' pairing that you liked. At least FMA doesn't have the scary ship wars like Avatar.... *shudder* Or you could just let other people ruin your enjoyment...

In fact, i get this horrified looks when i tell people i like that pairing.

It might help if the Ed in your icon didn't look like he's eight fucking years old, pun intended.

13: I don't get how the whole 'Imp Midna= Furry' thing but I agree that Midna is overrated IMO. Srsly, Navi > Tatl > Midna ANY DAY. At least Navi helps you WITHOUT BEING BITCHY and Tatl... well, Tatl was the same as Midna lol XD But at least the whole game didn't center around her. Midna was just...ugh. Haha, don't we wish! People may like a lot of femslash pairings, but it's so hard to actually find fanfiction for them.

55. Oh, no, my friend . . . your critical comments would only rapidly INCREASE. I know mine did. I mean, the Twilight series is a fun, light read . . . but it's still incredibly cliched. It also panders to teen girls' lil fantasies so much that it's just . . . too obvious and in-your-face about it, that I cannot take it seriously for a moment. Aaannndd all of it's plots are continually rehashed (for three books now, here's what's happened each time: Bella can't decide whether to be a vampire or not; vampires want her blood; Edward is sparkly and is handsome like a stone statue [does she have to keep reminding us of this?] and will always, always save the day in one paragraph or less; etc.; etc.). I admit, maybe I'm being a bit harsh, etc., but I've read a lot of vampire novels, and this thing ain't new. It isn't even a new spin on an old idea . . . it just is. XDDD

38. OMG yes, I was crying so hard. And seeing this secret, is making me all teary eyed. I cried when he died too but I don't think it was as much and I'm never happy when the main hero dies.

64. the original covers were better (and kinda sexier) it was originally titled by the vampire's name (Karin). It's a fantatic and hilarious series so buy it soon! =D

11. Don't get me wrong. I love Mos Def and Sam Rockwell, but the way Zaphod was done, physically, just made me sad. Although, the bit where Trillian was wearing his shirt, and it had a third sleeve was the kind of attention to detail that I get hard over.
15. Grey-haired Moe, or black-haired Moe? Personally, I prefer the grey.
32. I thought 300 was fucking beautiful. Easily one of the best I saw in the cinema last year.
