Geez, would it kill people to make readable secrets? I lost count how many today were unreadable for one reason or another. Small text is not readable, dark font on dark background is not readable, having the font and background the same color but in different shades it not readable, etc, etc. Why post secrets when people can't read them?

20. It's irritating no matter who does it. I've seen the worst wars regarding this with het pairings, though.
25. You should probably look at some pairing-specific coms to find what you like better. Roy/Ed is very common, but I don't care much for it compared to other pairings.

27: I am so in on this that it makes me wish I could do something even vaguely useful for it |D Looking at my fandom crushes, I've always suspected the coats were part of manhawt voodoo. Vincent Valentine (FFVII) and Auron (FFX) need to be added into the tea party, though. Yes, tea party. I've always pictured them meeting at a tea party. Because I am lame.

She helps keep old adventure games alive through Screencap Adventures (http://community.livejournal.com/screencappery/). It's really neat and fun and accepting-ful. You should join, I bet you'll meet a lot of like-minded people! Also, what's the game that scared you? If it's disturbing, God knows I want to try it :D

1. When you say Slash.. do you mean the guitar player, the evil turtle from Dimension X, or the concept of pairing 2 characters of the same sex (and usually very out of character)?
Either way, that's a very assholish move right there... I don't like Slash much either (even though I make acceptions here and there) but I'd never do something as mean as end a friendship for it, it's selfish. I have friends who treat me well who like things I don't, but I'd never leave them for such a thing...
(But if your friends are the "OMFG KAWAII MANSMEX!!!" types of slash fans, then I don't blame you, those types of fans SUCK)

I commented earlier, it's nice to see some people not flaming the hell out of the OP of 1. (I consider those that are to be "pulling the trigger in ignorance.") I mean, if he/she is getting rid of friends just for liking something, then yeah, they're an arse, but I suspect that it's probably more of the "Kaiiwaiii mansex! You MUST agree! Join us! Join us!" thing and he/she is sick of it - it becomes less of a fandom issue and more of a RESPECT issue when that happens, and I know firsthand.

27. Same here. Vash gets the uke end of the stick.... Alucard's hand at his throat. He doesn't look like he's enjoying this kind of "attention." Art with one "lover" crying and looking scared always freaks me out. I don't like slash with Vash, anyway, but the least slash/yaoi artists can do is draw him enjoying it.

2: I love Ben. He's hot, and yeah, he seems like he'd be a really nice guy. But I miss Jack SO MUCH! I kinda feel like Cam is just John Crichton trying to act like Jack, and kinda (sadly) failing. I find it hard to watch.

25 - Not a fan of the pairing, fanbase or no, but I think at the moment fma_yaoi might as well be renamed steel and sparks mk. 2 (or whatever that Roy/Ed comm is called). As your secret illustrates, the rest of the men in the banner might as well not be there.

(yes, one could use canon to have Roy/Ed work in fanfic, but I prefer not to think of their interaction in a romantic sense. It also doesn't help that I'm not a big fan of anime-verse Ed.)

I know as a closet Mustang/Havoc fan and writer, it's hard to wade through all the Roy/Ed stuff and my stuff gets overlooked quite a bit either because everyone IS a Roy/Ed fan or there is so much of it, people gloss on by.
