It would be hilarious and awkward, yet also somehow sweet, and Jen would be confused and Richmond would be, well, Richmond and...yeah. It would be hilarious and adorable at the same time. Which is why I ship it.

If I thought I could write Richmond I would fic for it in an instant...even though I'd still be keeping it a secret so I'd be using a sock-puppet account when/if I shared it with the world. Actually, I'd have to be able to write not only for Richmond but for Moss, too (fairly certain I could handle Jen and Roy), since I'm a firm believer that fics should not focus SOLELY on the main characters, and that would be especially true for a show like the IT Crowd, which is so much about character interactions. Plus Roy would likely have an aneurysm when he found out (the show being as it is, I could probably write that literally - no lasting damage of course!) and that'd just be fun to write, because everyone would be flailing about.

And I've seen the outtakes. Several times. Because I'm a Noel Fielding addict and will positively devour anything he's in. They are love. I considered using a screencap from the "wrong camera" blooper instead of the actual scene to set a bit of a mood for the secret, but ultimately had to go with something I could properly sceencap from somewhere other than youtube.

1. I'm not a fan of slash and a lot of my friends are, but they mean way more to me than something like that. :/ I had a friend in high school who ditched me because I didn't like slash, though. Being smothered by it is no fun. I think I'm better off without her.

10. I've heard that's the case with a lot of fans, actually. Personally, I can't stand it either way. XD; Whether they're real or fictional, smoking is a huge turn-off for me.

15 - I vaguely remembered an episode that focused on Moe's lack of a love life. I felt so bad for him, and I had such a crush on him after that episode. I want to snuggle him and make him feel better. Poor guy... He doesn't get enough love.

32 - People who don't take 300 serious just like to think they're too cool for school. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to movies, but I think 300 was fantastic and gorgeous.

54 - I'm glad someone still likes her. I'm one of those people who enjoyed it through NIC, but thought CS was a bunch of poopy. I wouldn't say I hate her, I just don't have time for reading books that I can't find any substance in. They just seem so boring to me now. Same old, same old. Nothing new - let's all have an orgy.

25. To me, shipping Roy/Ed is a classic example of shipping two male characters out of habit. I don't see Ed as a sexual being at all, LET ALONE being at all attracted to Roy, even in the fiercest of hate!sex way. And Roy's got other problems to worry about than sexxin' up that twerp. Add to this the crazy imbalance of power and you get *bleccch* from me.

Now, Roy/Hughes I can get behind. For one, they've always related as equals.

53 is a British comedy called The IT Crowd about, well, an IT department, their "company relations" manager and...many, many other things (a cannibal, courtship, death, incompetency, relationships, etc). While I wouldn't call it "brilliant", it's certainly damn funny (at least in my opinion)

The goth in the secret is a minor character who only appears in about half the episodes, and only in a major role in 2 of those. Sadly.
