02. That's why I almost never write fanfic for anything written by Douglas Adams (except in crossovers, because I just can't seem to resist).

08. WORD. There's a reason why I tend to hate yaoi OVAs, and things like that are a big part of it. (The only good one I've ever seen EVER is FAKE.) That's why I get my yaoi porn from fanfic-- for all that people complain, even the really bad ones often do a better job than the 'real thing'.

20. Alas, I go by the official English spelling. If that makes you angry, well...too bad, I guess.

23. Honestly, it freaks me out too.

38. I agree only with the last one. I've found some pretty amazing, original amvs on youtube, and I think it's fine if people want exposure that way. Not everybody has oodles and oodles of diskspace to download amvs, ya know.

38. I dunno, I like previewing AMVs on Youtube to see wether or not they're worth downloading. It bothers me when people DON'T put an HR version on AMV.org, though. I really want to download this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGn3MP8v1C0). There are like 90 other Final Fantasy AMVs set to "Dream On" on there but none of them are that one.

38. I can't agree enough. AMVs in general used to be looked on well enough, until youtube came around. Now anyone can upload crap they threw together in 5 minutes. The worst part is that the comments are always like "WOW I LUV IT 5 STARS". Now AMVs are stereotyped for pure crap, while MADs are suddenly revered. And how the hell can you enjoy a good AMV with such crap quality?

They say "Edo" and "Aru" in the anime, too, but most fans think the people who use those spellings are stupid fangirls. Why the inconsistency?

20: A friend and I discussed this, and we came to the conclusion that it could even be "Ishvarl. It sounds so much cooler, and I think it was on an official poster in Japan. Totally agree on the "v", by the way. Thsi way of writing katakana is used especially for "v", as there is another way that can be read as either "b" or "v".

Have I thought about this too much?

36: I prefer a certain genre of Japanese music over any other. Now, I do speak the language, though I didn't always, and generally you can look up lyric translations if you want to know what the songs are about. It's not always important, though. if the singer is good, the feeling of the words will reach through anyway.

And yeah, I do think certain types of music from Japan have their own unique sound and structure. I don't, however, think it's inherently better - that's just a matter of taste - but I can definitely hear the difference.

47: That's because it's out of character. Seriously, these characters do not react to tragedy and adversity by angsting or turning dark! Usually there's even canon to prove this!

Oh my! I used to watch before I went to work, too.. although I watched that episode after I'd been working like 7 days in a row and got given a few days off... I dread to think what it would've been like if I'd been working the day after. Boring Coffee Shop with next to no customers + too much time to think about things = bucketloads of tears in front of the rare customer(s).
