08. Grew out of? Heck, I grew into it. I never liked it when I was younger, because almost all of it was lost on me. Then again, I'm only eighteen, so I suppose I still fall into its target audience.

66. I completely disagree. If the character exhibits actual, identifiable symptoms of a mental illness, it is perfectly fine to call that character on it, just like it is with people IRL. If it's pulled out of thin air, then yeah, that's a problem. But otherwise, no. I don't feel like mental illnesses cheapen the characters of people I know IRL, and that extends to fictional sphere.

However, I do think it is a problem if people believe that medication can solve everything, which was addressed briefly in your secret. I know many, many people on meds, and it only works to point. The rest is all up to the individual.

Totally agreed. A reasonable theory that a character has a mental illness isn't an insult to the character. And agreed with the rest of it too.

"fighting for your OWN JOB." That's a fun concept, like every little person can just wave their arms and make the Big Bad Actors scurry away. Believe me, I'm active in making sure I get that job as soon as I can. Doesn't make it any less frustrating, and whining on the internet is cathartic and doesn't take much time.
