66. Seriously? A few pills and a shrink do not automatically fix a mental disorder. I currently have two friends who are going in and out of the hospital because of mental disorders. It's hard to find medication that works, and just having a shrink doesn't suddenly make you feel better. I wish so hard that it did, so they could be okay again, but it doesn't.

I understand a little what you mean about making the characters somewhat different to look at, but I feel your opinion is really uninformed.

66. Also I must heartily agree with the person right above me. You're out of your mind if you think mental disorders, especially personality disorders, can simple evaporate with a pill.

To be completely honest, chances are, when you look at these dysfunctional characters (esp. in EVA), they really DO suffer from pathological problems. This doesn't invalidate their crazy; just categorizes it.

Except the 'you' was an obvious troll (no capitalization, no spelling, Gheb fetish, anyone?), but the general gist of it... I usually write fluff for them, but I've toyed with dubcon from time to time.

I wish it was a troll. Unfortunately, so not. But I've realized, since posting that secret, that it wasn't really all that IC. Kind of figured out the truth is certainly more along the lines of what I write, but, still, I overdo the fluff. Which I guess is a good thing to realize, especially since it won't stop me from seeing them as having their fluffy moments-- I've just realized that they're not perfect and don't always only argue 'cos they love each other.
